Nik ate quietly, and bit his lip slightly, then went back to eating. He ran a hand through his hair.
"You kidnaped me even though you're going to war?" (o/o-closed)
Cas made small conversation to the few of the people sitting around him. Mostly, his attention was on Nik, making sure he was okay.
Nik kept eating quietly, chewing on his lower lip a little bit between eating. He didn't know what to do.
After a moment, a woman maybe ten years older then Nik sat next to him, "Hello there, who might you be?"
Nik bit his lip. "Nikolai Avon." He replied softly, eyes flickering to her, then away again, anxious.
The woman smiled. She had that motherly feel to her, one that would give everyone on the street cookies if she wanted, "It's nice to meet you, Nikolai. I'm Marrisia Stanham."
He nodded a little bit. "Oh. Nice to meet you, I guess." He said in a soft, slightly hesitant voice. He had no idea what he was supposed to be doing or saying right now.
“So, may I ask how you got caught up with my king over there?” She nodded to Cas who was in a deep conversation with someone, “It’s not often he brings a man to dinner. If at all. You must be pretty special.”
Nik blinked, and blushed slightly. "I-I, er…I don't know." he mumbled, looking back down at his plate, unsure what exactly to say.
