Smoke finished up his food, looking up at Derlik.

Smoke's bowl disappeared too, leaving just Nik's now.
"So, I'm going to be out and about today. You two will probably have to come with me, of course."
Nik set the bowl aside, frowning a little bit. He didn't say anything, though.

"What do you two think? Do you want to go like this, or have me carry you?" Derlik folded his legs under him.
Nik frowned a little bit. "I don't want to be carried." he said.

"Alright then. What about you, Smoke?" Derlik said, looking over and offering a gentle smile.
Smoke shrugged slightly. "I don't know."

Derlik nodded a bit.
"It'd be easier if you let me," he said.
Smoke nodded a little. "Alright."

Derlik held one hand to Smoke's cheek.
"Ready?"
Smoke nodded again. "Mhm."

Derlik nodded, then shrunk Smoke. He was still human, of course. Derlik held him in one palm.
Smoke wobbled a little, looking up at him uncertainly.

Derlik offered a finger to help Smoke balance.
"This okay?"
Smoke took the finger, balancing, then nodded. "Mhm."

Derlik nodded, keeping his finger with Smoke to keep him balanced as he raised his hand towards his pocket.
Smoke shifted a little, unsure what was happening.

Derlik set Smoke carefully in his pocket, which was shallow enough that his shoulders weren't in it.
"Ready to go?" He asked of Nik.
Smoke peeked out, holding onto the pocket. Nik nodded a little bit.

Derlik stood, offering one hand to Nik. He lightly ruffled Smoke's hair, careful not to hurt him.
Nik took Derlik's hand hesitantly, biting his lower lip. Smoke leaned into the touch with a quiet purr.

Derlik continued petting Smoke, leading Nik away from the boulder to their next destination.
Smoke was quiet. Nik walked with him, biting his lip.

Derlik made his way through the woods, humming to himself.
"Things are going to be interesting."
Nik was silent, but wondered what Derlik meant by that.

Derlik hummed a bit, grinning.
"We're going to go to a lot of different places. Are you sure your want to be like this?" He motioned to Nik being full size.
Nik frowned a little. "Where are we going?"

"Bars, strip clubs, maybe a couple casinos. The wild places of the world." Derlik shrugged a bit.
"And to fuck with some other gods."
Nik wrinkled his nose. "Gross."
