Nik shrugged faintly, looking around.
You'll See Just How Crazy I Can Be (rp with Icefire, feel free to stalk!)
group
Derlik sighed again, starting around the gym.
Nik bit his lip.
group
Derlik was silent, happiness from before gone. Something had ticked him off.
Nik watched him quietly. Smoke was still in Derlik's pocket.
group
Derlik frowned a bit, reaching up to scratch Smoke's head.
"I don't like this…"
Smoke looked up at him. "What?"
group
"These kids weren't even trying to play before I showed up, all of them on their phones…" Derlik shook his head.
(ok boomer)
Smoke frowned slightly. "So?"
group
"Look, don't get me wrong, I love the advances human's are making, but honestly? Nothing beats old fashioned chaos. Sure, you can do a lot of it online, but what's better than tackling someone to the ground for taking you're perceived spot?" Derlik sighed.
Smoke cocked his head faintly, then shrugged.
group
Derlik sighed. He patted Smoke's head lightly, moving around the gym still. By the time he was done, a very… competitive game of dodge ball had started.
Smoke was quiet, still in Derlik's pocket.
group
Derlik hummed, watching. He ducked out of the way of a stray ball, making his way over to Nik. He lifted Smoke out of his pocket, smiling.
Nik was quiet, looking up when Derlik came back.
group
Derlik sighed a bit, still smiling.
"Well?"
Nik shrugged slightly.
group
Derlik nodded.
"Here, careful of the dodgeballs."
He nodded a little. "I know."
group
Derlik looked around, smiling softly.
"Better than yesterday?"
He blinked, thinking. "Uhm…I don't know."
group
Derlik sighed, smile dropping.
"I see."
He looked down at his toes.
group
Derlik looked around once more.
"Shall we go?" his voice was a bit dry.
"Sure." He replied softly.
group
Derlik took Nik's hand, still seeming to not be in a good mood.
Nik swallowed faintly, standing still.
group
Derlik closed his eyes a moment, perhaps to calm himself, then brought Nik to their next stop, an arcade.
Nik bit his lip faintly.
group
Derlik stayed in a bad mood, letting go of Nik's hand as he went about. Even as machines started spitting coins or tickets out, and people were growing competitive and trying to beat the next high score, he had a frown on his face.
