Derlik touched his finger to Arthur's mouth, the thread disappearing.
"Then speak."

Arthur worked his jaw for a moment, taking a deep breath, glad to not have the thread anymore.

Derlik scowled some.
"Well? Speak up, then, before I do worse next time."
"I…how exactly would you be…cleaning me?"

"How do you think?" Derlik asked. "Be honest, Arthur, and quick about it, we haven't all day."
Arthur recoiled, closing his eyes tightly. He hated being covered in syrup, but he really didn't want to be tongue cleaned, either.

"Well?" Derlik was a bit snappier than usual. Nik was waiting, after all.
Arthur flinched. "I-I…I…"

Derlik lifted Arthur up a bit more, scowling.
"Answer me now or I'm going to turn you into something permanently."
Arthur's eyes widened, and he whimpered a little. "I…I d-dont…"

"Don't what, what, what?" Derlik yelled at Arthur, getting much more upset now.
"Why don't you say an entire sentence for fucking once?!"
Arthur flinched. "Sorry." He mumbled.

"You're useless. You're worse that useless." Derlik moved to hold Arthur in his fist, scowling.
Arthur winced, biting his lip faintly.

Derlik scowled, shoving Arthur in his pocket. He paused to calm down, taking deep breaths.
"If you keep acting like this I'm going to turn you into a wooden toy and burn you."
Arthur whimpered at that.

Derlik sighed some, turning to head back.
"You're going to learn your place, one way or another."
Arthur shivered faintly.

Derlik fell silent, Arthur still tucked away in his pocket as he came back to the boulder.
Arthur shivered agina, squeezing his eyes shut. Nik was still sitting on the rock.

Derlik hummed some, ignoring Arthur for now. He'd break the man, eventually.
"So, is there something you might like to do today?"
Nik opened his eyes, looking up at Derlik. "Oh. I…I don't know." He said softly.

"Ah, okay then… to you feel good enough to come with me on the job?" Derlik moved to sit down, legs folding as he looked to Nik.
He thought about it for a moment. "I guess so, yeah."

"Okay, then. Smoke, Twili, will you two want to come?" Derlik asked, looking over.
Smoke thought about it for a moment. "Mm…yeah?" He said, looking over at Derlik and Nik.

"Okay!" Derlik gently placed his hands against Smoke and Nik's cheeks as he usually did, to shrink them.
