Beau nodded as well and took Alex's hand in his own, walking out to the car. They soon arrived at the park where they were meeting Lucifer.
Zero Gravity ((one-on-one//private))
Alex sighed softly, wrapping an arm around Beau's shoulders. It was a nice day out, much to his dislike.
"Something wrong, love?" Beau looked up at Alex curiously, a bit concerned.
"Hm? Oh, I just don't like the weather," He mumbled.
"But it's nice out? What don't you like?"
"The sun. It's way too bright."
Beau rolled his eyes, grinning a bit. "Oh, come on… you're just grumpy. Now let's go. We gotta find Mr. Lucifer."
“What did I say about the ‘Mr’?” Alex replied, holding back a smile.
"Hmm?" Beau glanced up at Alex. "Oh! Sorry, it's a habit. There he is, anyways."
Alex looked over and spotted his old friend, giving Beau's hand a squeeze as he walked them over.
"Hello, Mr. Lucifer." Beau dipped his head politely. Dammit… I did it again.
Alex held back and eye roll while Lucifer just smiled a little, a tiny, nearly invisible smile, "Beau, it's nice to see you again."
"N-Nice to see you too, sir." Hhhh. Beau was hating his ingrained angel habits by now.
Lucifer huffed a tired laugh, “Please, there’s no need for formalities.”
"I know, sorry… it's a habit of mine." Beau sat down at the table beside Alex.
Alex wrapped an arm around Beau's shoulders, kissing the top of his head. Lucifer smiled at them both, a look that was very foreign on the demon king.
"So… um… how are things for you Mr- sorry! Lucifer!" Beau looked up at Lucifer, leaning into Alex.
Lucifer sighed softly, “Well, if I’m being honest not great.”
"Really? What's wrong?" Beau cocked his head slightly to the side.
"It's Jax," He sighed, rubbing his temples, "He's escaped. He's still in Hell, but we can't find him."
"W-What? When… when do you think you'll find him?" Beau asked nervously, moving a bit closer to Alex.
Alex pulled Beau a little closer. Lucifer sighed, "Soon, hopefully. But… we need Alex to come back and help find him."
Beau glanced up at Alex. "Should… should I come too or am I staying here alone?"
Alex growled softly, "There's no way I'm leaving you alone."
"Well, Mr. Lucifer needs you to come back down with him and you said earlier that you wouldn't want to take me to hell, so that puts us in a bit of a predicament, doesn't it?"
Alex sighed, the frown from earlier deepening more into a scowl, "I'm not leaving you alone."
"What're we supposed to do, then? Am I going to hell or not?" Beau sighed softly as well as he looked up at Alex.
"You're going with me, but you'll have one of my friends around you at all times. If you're not with them you're with me."
"Alright…" Beau nodded in agreement, though he still seemed nervous. "When are we leaving?"
“Tomorrow night.” Lucifer said, “Make sure you have a bag packed.”
