Seth chuckled. "Who the embarrassed one now~?" He finished the pancakes and put them on a plate. He then guided Hiro to a seat and sat him down before putting the homemade pancakes and syrup in front of him. "What do you want to drink?" He was happy he was able to do something for Hiro after all he had done for him.

His face was dark red. "W-Water is fine…" He stared at the pancakes and smiled brightly. "T-These look amazing!" He said nervously.

Seth grinned. He went to find where Hiro kept his glasses as he replied, "I'm glad they do. Might want to try them though, and make sure they taste good." He was slightly concerned by Hiro's stuttering, but decided to let it slide for now. He found the cups and filled one with cold water. He placed it above Hiro's plate. Then he sat down across from him and closed his eyes tiredly.

"You should go get some sleep." He takes a bite and smiles. "Plus the pancakes taste better than their look." He smiles brightly.

Seth smiled sleepily. "That's good… Dunno why I'm so sleepy… I don't usually need a ton of… sleep…" He drifted off, his breathing deepening.

Hiro stood up and picked Seth up. He quietly walked into his room and laid him down. "Sweet dreams." He kisses his forehead and went to finish his food and clean the dishes.

Seth snuggled into the sheets, unwittingly exposing his heavily bandaged torso in his sleep. He started whimpering as nightmares ensued.

Hiro heard the noises and ran to him. "H-Hey…I-I'm here…" He sees the bandages and covers his mouth. "S-Seth wake up…"

Seth woke up, panting and whimpered, "H-Hiro…" He reached out pitifully for him. "I-I . was sc-scared…" Tears were starting to form in his eyes.

He hugs him tightly. "I'm here…" He pets his head. "What happened?" He looked genuinely concerned for him. "And…Why are you hurt…"

Seth stiffened. He tugged his shirt down and muttered, "It's n-nothing…" He buried his face into Hiro's shoulder, hiding.

"Tell me…Please…" His voice was cracking a little.

Seth sniffed a bit before mumbling, "Just protecting you. I'll be f-fine…" He hugged him closer, not wanting to worry Hiro.

"At least let me look at it…" He was already worried. "I don't want you getting hurt on my behalf…Understand." He was serious.

Seth pulled back and wrapped his arms around himself, not wanting Hiro to look and see how bad it was. "I-it was necessary…" He avoided Hiro's gaze, guiltily

"Seth…Please…" He was crying now. "I don't…w-want to s-see you hurt…" He moved his chin so he was looking at him.

Seth was sad that he was hurting Hiro like this, but letting him see his wounds would not make things any better. "Hiro, please. Please try to understand… I only fought because it was the only way to keep her from k-k-k…" He drifted off and looked down at his lap, shoulders shaking with quiet sobs.

"Y-You think getting hurt is better. You could have died also…" He looked away. "I don't want to lose you…You're all I have…"

Seth grabbed Hiro and pulled him tightly into a hug, openly crying now. "Y-you're the only thing I have! H-how c-could I just let them take you away from me with- without any sort of fight?!" He whimpered into Hiro's shirt. "At least, now sh-she w-won't come back… But damn it, I WILL PROTECT YOU! WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!" He clutched at Hiro like he was his only life line.

"Calm down…I don't need you to…But if it makes you happy…" He sighs. "I still want to check your injury. No buts or arguing."

Seth whimpered, but let Hiro do as he pleased as he wiped salty tears away with the back of his hand.

He lifted his shirt up a little to the bandaged section. "What did she do to you…" His voice cracked again. It was worse than last time.

Seth sniffed. "Well, she's a succubus, so… she's pretty equal to me in power, if not stronger…" He swallowed hard, trying not to cry again.

"What specifically did she do to you?" He sighs slightly and looked him in the eyes. "Please tell me. we're not moving until you do."

"Sh-she was in her demon form, so she had her claws. Most of the f-fight was a blur, but I do remember her s-slashing my stomach with her c-claws. I think she grazed m-my back t-too…" Seth hung his head, ashamed he had let her get him like that.

"Let me get the first aid kit. I'll be right back." He gets up and ran to the bathroom opening things to find it. When he comes back he sits down and opens it. "Can I take the bandages off?"

Seth nodded. "J-just be careful. …It's pretty shredded up…" He looks up at the ceiling, knowing he probably would vomit if he saw the damage again.

He nods and slowly takes them off. When he gets them off he starts crying. "I'm sorry…" He wipes his face and and sighs.

Seth whispered, "You're fine. Just… don't make me look…" His breath was starting to hitch now that the bandages were off and the pain started to kick in.

"I wouldn't even if you wanted to…" He looks for ointment and new bandages. "This will hurt…A lot…" He starts to clean the cuts carefully.
