"No," Venus was tempted to kiss him, but she wanted him to kiss her first. Do you really love me? Her eyes asked. Even if you found out my past?
(Aw yiss)
Ender blinked. "You never answered my question." Also you're super close…
"Life altering things. Careers, college… the works. Happy now?"
"Almost." He leaned down and kissed her.
Venus ordered herself to take it slow, but her body didn't listen. She kissed him back passionately and looped her fingers in his hair to pull him closer. … Idiot
(Idk, if you want.)
(Idk only if you want to mate)
(Doesn't matter to me. He's your character. If you feel like it would move the plot along, go for it!)
(K DEN YOU ASKED FOR IT)
The door opened. "hey kiddo I'm gonn-WHAT THE HELL?"
Venus whipped around. Ender's dad was standing in the doorway and Kate Winslet was saying something to Leonardo DiCaprio on screen. Her breath caught in her throat.
Ender blushed. Dammit..
"Hey…dad…"
His dad stared at them. "What the hell is going on?"
"Mr. Tripp…" Venus died off, not knowing what to say. She lowered her gaze as her cheeks heated rapidly.
Ender rolled his eyes. "Dad. We talked about knocking."
Mr. Tripp squinted. "Uh huh. And we talked about girls didn't we?"
Venus scooted away from Ender's dad slightly, which meant moving closer to Ender. Lord, she was scared. Her heart beat rapidly.
Ender frowned. "Yes you gave me your two cents about them. But that's not what I think."
Mr. Tripp glowered down at Venus. "I suggest she should leave."
Venus was terrified. Oh, Lordy, help me… She shrank closer to Ender under Mr. Tripp's glare.
"Why? Is this just because of mom?"
Mr. Tripp clenched his fists. "No. It's because I don't want you to be lured in."
Ender's mom? Lured? "I'm sorry," Venus whispered to Ender.
"Don't be." He rubbed her shoulder. "Dad you're being irrational."
Mr. Tripp crossed his arms. "I give her the count of three to get out of this room and out the front door."
"Ender, I should probably…" Venus spoke but didn't move.
"One…"
Ender looked down at her. "Venus…go…"
Venus hesitated.
"Two…"
"Venus. Go now."
Venus whispered, "I love you."
"Love you too. Now go!"
"I don't want to leave you," Venus cried softly.
"Three." Mr. Tripp grabbed Venus's arm. "Times up."
