When Piper woke up, Cassie was still asleep. She decided to get up as quietly as she could, and then walked out by herself.

Tanner was up and walking around trying to stay away from nancy.
She decided to take a walk through the woods outside of the campus since she had a bit of extra time. She took off, earbuds in her ears, hair flying behind her, to the hidden exit that the faculty didn't know about.
Tanner cussed and screamed. "Leave me the —- alone."
Piper turned to see what all the commotion was about, and she took one earbud out and let it hang by its cord. She watched from a distance as Nancy taunted Tanner.
Tanner pushes her. "I said to leave me alone. I'm tired of you messing with me." He stands his ground. "Go find someone else to mess with." Tanner practically growled at her.
(So you deleted your account again?)
(Oh ok, are you alright?)
(Ok thats good, I'll continue then)
Piper didn't go any closer, she just continued watching. She was happy to see Tanner standing up for himself.
When he looked in Piper’s direction, she gave him a thumbs up and mouthed “good job!” But then she turned and kept going tin the direction of the woods.
She had her earbuds back in again, so she couldn’t hear the footsteps very well. She walked for a few minutes before hearing acceptionally loud rustling from a few feet behind her.
“AHHH!” Piper screamed. Once she realized it was him, she was a bit peeved. “Dude, I almost had a heart attack! Can’t you just talk like everyone else?” But despite her words, she did smile.
“No big deal,” she said, and laughed. “I was this close to punching you so be glad my reflexes are slow,” she joked.
“Yep, and I’m proud of you,” she responded, and ruffled his hair.
“Yeah. How do you feel now that she’s off your back?” Piper asked and stood up.
“Well, like I said, I’m proud of you,” she said, and hugged him again. “Want to walk with me?”
"I-uh, I don't know, I think she's still back at the room," Piper answered. She was still angry with Cassie, but she didn't want Tanner to have to worry about that.
"You know what, it sounded like Nancy. She's always so dramatic, so id rather keep moving. Besides, if we don't we'll be late for class."
