Claire glanced up when someone said something. "No…. Um…. You guys can go without me…." She wiped her hands embarrassingly on her skirt and sat back down by the fountain. I don't belong with them….
App limped over to her. "Come on. Please?" She made a praying motion with her hands. "I'd like somebody who shares my situation to be there with me."

Claire didn't really say anything back to App. She hardly knew anyone, so what made her think that she needed her to come? I can't…. She reached down and swished the water with her fingers, just as Clovis was doing earlier.

Clovis smiles. Not because he wants Claire to think they're nice or anything, but because he has never remembered his whole life. Since he was a child he would forget and never remember again. Shoot, he can't even remember who's eyes the glimmering water reminds him of. He sighs.

I'm not letting the only two people who understand what it's like to lose memories escape me." She grinned at Claire. "And Clovis and I want to help you." she then leaned and whispered, "Please. Clovis wants to help people, and it might make him feel better helping you."
