Stuck in a Library! Closed,but stalkers are welcome :)

She looked at the list on the counter, "There's about 7 people in here." She yelled so everyone could hear her as she made her way over to where she was reading before the power went out.

“Everyone make your way to the exit so we can meet up.” Violet yelled as she walked towards the exit.

Zyra quickly walked over to the exit.

Zyra leaned against the wall and waited for everyone to come to the exit

Violet saw two others by the exit as she sat down. There should be seven, she thought. Maybe they’re still coming, the library is pretty big after all

Otis' heart was beating at a million miles an hour. Was he alone? Then, he heard a girl yell to make their way to the exit. Her slowly got up and walked over, on the brink of tears.

Copeland and Dev gave each other a look, then both headed to the exit to meet with the others. Copeland's anxiety flared up, and he began to pick at the skin around his fingernails. This was a bad habit of his, but it was so subtle that Dev missed it often.

Dev shrugged off the power outage and lockdown, her mind at ease. She was sure she'd make it out of the library in time for her plans that night.

"Wh-what happened?" Otis asked. He was so scared. "W-wait! We can call out and maybe someone can get us out! " He tried dialing on his phone. "Ugh. No signal!" He sat down. Violet saw that three others had joined. “Ok now we’re just missing one person. Can I ask how old everyone is, and what your name is?”

"I'm Zyra Everett and I'm 16 years old." She said, glancing at the other people that came in.

"O-Otis Hartford, 14…"

"I'm Violet, 16. And sorry if I have a harsh vibe my personality doesn't match my style." Violet motioned at her hair and clothes, someone wear this you wouldn't typically find in a library.

"I'm Dev. Almost eighteen," Dev said, trying to get things over with gracefully.

"And I'm Copeland. I'm nearing eighteen as well." He started to pick at his fingernails more. It occurred to him that he and Dev are still in public and should act as a couple, so he sheepishly slid an arm around Dev's shoulders. She leaned into him with an easy smile as she looked over the others gathered by the exit. "We're together."
