Cameron tailed her, yawning. His legs didn’t feel totally stretched out, but he was used to that sensation by now.

Lilah pushed the bedroom door open and walked over to her dresser to pull out a set of soft, light pink pajamas.
"Do you want to change in here or the bathroom?" she asked, turning to Cameron.
(Oof. I get that feel, bro.)
Cameron pulled out a pair of sweatpants and a loose-fitting shirt. “I can just change out here.”

"Okay. I'll go in the bathroom, then," Lilah said with a nod as she made her way over to the attached bathroom.
Cameron nodded and waited till she was in the bathroom to strip and dress. He finished and plopped down on the bed.

Lilah carefully removed the flower from her hair and set it on the counter top before changing into her pajamas. Once she was finished, she stepped back into the bedroom and set her clothes in a hamper, then sat down on the bed beside Cameron.
Cameron glanced over at her and shifted over. “Sorry. I was just taking up all the room.”

"It's fine," Lilah assured him with a smile, laying down and snuggling up close to him. "I just glad to be here with you."
Cameron curled up into her, wrapping his arms around her and squeezing. “I’m glad you’re here, too.”

Lilah wrapped her own arms around Cameron, pecking him on the lips quickly.
"I can't wait to see what's in store for us," she said softly.
Cameron set his head down on the pillows and pulled the blankets over them. “I can’t wait, either. Whatever it is, we’d go through it together.”

"Always," Lilah agreed quietly, her eyes fluttering closed as she laid her head on his shoulder.
Cameron squeezed her again before relaxing. He shut his eyes, dozing off slowly.

Cameron stretched awake slowly. Lily gave a low growl in annoyance, but leaned forward to boop her nose off of Cameron’s stretching arms.
Today was June 7th. It was Cameron’s birthday. More specifically his twenty-third birthday.
He didn’t want to be this old. He disliked the idea of old age. A lot.
