"Then why are you being so quiet?," He challenged.
A Random Rp?
"Because I'm exhausted from being around you for so long," Charlotte muttered.
He laughed, and spun her around. "Oh but sweetheart, you haven't even seen my bed yet!"
"Can you not shut up for two seconds?" Charlotte snapped.
He smirked. "Nope." He said sassily.
Charlotte scowled. "Whatever."
He laughed softly, looking down at her.
The music stopped and Charlotte immediately walked away, taking a small snack from one of the tables before sitting down. Christ, what was happening to her?
Quinn found a new dance partner, after casting one last glance after Charlotte.
Charlotte stared hard at the ground for several moments before snapping back to reality and realising she had crushed her cookie. Sighing, she stood up to throw it away and walked over near the ballroom doors, debating whether to leave.
Aster came over to her, a pleasant smile on his face. "I didn't expect to see you here." He said, bowing lightly.
Charlotte jumped, turning to face him. "You nearly gave me a heart attack," she complained.
He laughed softly. "Oh. Sorry." He said.
She shook her head. "It's fine, I was just being dramatic."
He smiled. "Ah. Having fun?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.
Charlotte shrugged. "Not really," she answered honestly. "I really haven't had any fun since coming here."
He nodded. "Mm. Want me to show you around? Might be able to find something you like."
Charlotte shrugged. "I'm probably not supposed to do that. Well, let's go, then," she said, opening the door and slipping out.
Aster followed her, then took the lead. "Follo me." He said softly.
Charlotte nodded. "Where are we going?" She questioned curiously.
"You'll see." He replied.
Charlotte sighed. "I don't like surprises, Hatter," she groaned.
He laughed. "Lottie, I'm the grandson of the Mad Hatter. I'm full of surprises." He said. "It's okay if I call you Lottie, right?" He glanced at her.
Charlotte hesitated before nodding. "I've never had a nickname before. It's rather nice."
He nodded, and kept walking. "Alright." He said with a small smile.
Charlotte sighed. "How much longer?" She whined.
"Time is relative." He replied.
"That doesn't make sense," Charlotte replied, slightly annoyed. She hated things that didn't make sense.
He grinned. "This is Wonderland. It isn't supposed to make sense!"
Charlotte growled frustratedly. "I know this is Wonderland. And I don't care. When things don't make sense, then they have to be fixed, and if you can't fix them, then you get rid of them, or - " she winced, realizing what she was doing. "Sorry."
