"Go to sleep." Niko said firmly, "You will go to sleep and stay sane unlike some people."
"fine…" he lied down in the worn grass from his pacing and fell asleep almost instantly.
Niko looked over him and went back to inspecting the knife
Jordan crouches near Niko, "What's that?"
The knife had small vein-like vines that lead from each thorn to the base of the blade.
"Arioch's knife. It touched the dap and now it's like this."
"Huh. Better than what happened to me."
the knife heated up a little as Jordan got closer.
"Careful. It's sharp."
"Why is it heating up?" He reaches his hand out for the hilt
"What?" Niko looked alarmed
a few small spikes pricked his hand and then retracted back into the knife. it cooled down and the thorns had blood droplets on them.
"Ow! What the hell?!"
"That thing… is sentient?"
"But why me?! It's not hurting you!"
Arioch groaned "It can smell the sap in the bottle… i think anyway" he fell back asleep.
"It pricked me too."
Jordan turned to his hip and the bottle of blue sap
"Please don't kill yourself."
The knife ejected what blood it took out of the thorns.
"What? I wasn't" Jordan unhooks the sap from the makeshift belt, dropping it then reaching again to the knife
"What…!"
The knife did nothing as he picked it up.
"Huh?"
Jordan flicks it, "Hey! Wake up!"
Some vines poked at Jordan's fingers but nothing else happened.
"Ow! What is this thing?!"
"Maybe try putting the thorny bit into the sap?"
Jordan snaps off a thorn
