Lata woke up to hear voices coming from the other room. I must have fallen asleep due to exerting my powers earlier today.
Groggily, she sat up and rubbed her eyes.
In the other room she heard Orion ask something about letting it out, whatever that was…
(our Spanish teacher was trash so I know no Spanish at all lol)
Once again Orion asked his question. "Allow me to repeat myself. You did not let it out, did you? I sincerely hope that you didn't." Ears pinned, he waits for an answer.

Orion lets out a long suffering sigh, and looks back at Lucy. "Duck." That is a rather odd thing to say in of itself, coupled with Orion looking defeated.

Lucy arched a brow in confusion. “I don’t understand..” she said slowly.
Orion gives her a sad look, right about the time that something launches itself from behind her, latching itself in her hair, small claws nicking her skin. It thrashes itself, becoming entangled.
Sam frowned at him. "Duck? I don't see any ducks."
The soft reply of. "It is not a duck, I asked her to duck." Seeming to realize that the creature has been found, Orion starts forward.

(Ah, sorry I’m here, got distracted in art class.)
Lucy yelped sharply, stumbling forward. “Abite!” she said quickly, her hand pointed in the direction of the creature, and it was ripped off of her, thrown into a nearby wall. “What the hell is that thing?!” She cried, feeling the back of her head, blood on her fingers from a slight gash.
Sam squinted at it before taking a step back. "Should I burn it? I want to burn it."

“I don’t think it really matters, as long as it’s dead,” Lucy said quickly, hissing in pain as her fingers ran directly over the gash.
Sam walked towards the creature slowly, hands sparking and sizzling with heat. The runes along his arms crackled to life as he got closer to it

Lucy watched from a short distance back, her head aching as she continued to gently prod at it with her fingers lightly. She couldn’t tell how deep it was, but the gash seemed to be on the smaller side.
