Marlowe nodded. “Yeah,” she sighed. “So anyway, what’s the plan for lunch today?”

Halo walks down the halls, humming softly. His wings flutter as he walks, his blue gaze piercing anyone who looked at him.

Marlowe waved when she saw Halo, back to her usual untouchable demeanor. If you didn’t know she was on the verge of tears not much earlier, it’d be almost impossible to tell now.

Halo sees Marlowe and nods, waving slightly.

Marlowe smiled at that before turning to Adresin again. “So, have you met the new kid yet?” She asked.

Halo keeps walking, sighing softly as he does so. He runs a hand through his hair.
