Val and Andry cackle. "What's so horrible about that?"
They glance at each other, then back to Lucky Jack, still snickering. "Sure."

Jack glared at the pair, though his contempt was clearly aimed at Oni instead of them.
“Anyway… Is there anything else known about Malcolm, or these four he worked with?”he asked.
"Nope, not really. We do not know much ourselves about any of them." Val says, removing her helmet and shaking out her long, translucent hair, figuring that if anything were to happen it would have already.
Andry watches, then sighs.

Jack hummed, tapping his chin. He watched Val take off the helmet, but didn’t comment. Though, her armor reminded him of something.
“That adamantium you brought. How, in Ion’s name, did you come by so much?”he asked.
Val smirks. "A junkyard at the north-northwest edge of the city, 5 miles from my workshop."
Andry nods. "I helped get the large pieces of adamantium. There's also electrum, mithril and cold iron."
Etta grins at their banter, then nods at the mention of the adamantium.
“Many ancient ships are deposited there. No one pays much attention to that junkyard. Perfect spot.” She says plainly, continuing to admire the weapons. She looks up at Val’s unhelmeted head for a moment, then goes back to her work
Val nods. "Etta gets it." she grins.
Andry walks over to a corner, trying to find any seems in the case of his gun but finding none. He shoots a glare at Val, knowing she did that just to bug him.
Etta grins, walking over to Andry.
“So you make the weapons, eh? These are very professional.” She nods to the railgun.
Andry nods. "Val helps a lot, though." he says, still focused on his railgun. He shoots another glare at Val. She pretends to look innocent.
Etta cold her head, a hand on her hips. She looks to Val, then back to Andry, then back to Val.
“So Val, what are you anyways? You seem very intriguing.”

Jack sighed.
“Clearly the… Inter-net, whatever it’s called, hides a lot. I know the locations of the junkyards, but not what’s in them. It’s still a little bewildering, all this technology, but I’m slowly getting used to it,”he snorted.
Jack shrugged casually. He otherwise watched the interactions silently.
Val raises an eyebrow, then unfolds her wings. "Human."
Andry snorts. "That's not all you were."
Etta rests the gun over her shoulder, smiling slightly at Jack before turning back to Val.
“Really? You seem a lot less human than me, my lady.”
Val laughs. "You seem much more robotic than human yourself, and yet I never commented on it, now did I? But yes, I am part angel, fae, dragon… I am many things." she says, splitting into dozens of different forms, excluding her dragon incarnation, which confused her. Maybe not dragon anymore… she thinks as a wave of fury passes through her.
Etta laughs at first, rubbing her metallic arms.
“Now, that sounds made up. And I was just curious.” She immediately shuts up once Val splits, watching in awe. “My gods…”
(Bed for me now… might get back on later. If not, I will see you either over the weekend or Monday.)
"Woudn't anything in the world sound made up were it not for technology and science?" Andry says, looking between all of Val's forms.
(Same here XD yeah see ya!)
Etta smirks, nodding at Aiden. “You’re not wrong, my friend.” She gently touches her arm, one of the few places where she still had her natural skin. A remnant of her last life. “You’re not wrong.”
(Lmao, apparantly I can stay up later after acing the finals I took today!)
Andry watches as Etta touches one of the last areas of skin she had and thinks to himself, What a horrible life that must be, to not even be really human anymore…
Val collapses all her forms once more. "Anyways, yeah. This is me."
(Yayy! I’m in a sketchy hotel in a creepy city so I don’t feel like sleeping lmao)
Etta looks up from her daze, smiling. “That’s amazing.” She looks over at Aiden, studying him up and down. “What about you, just a normal human huh?”

Jack watched Valerie split, then merge again. He hummed thoughtfully.
“You are more along what I’m used to. Finally, someone else besides the little folk that I understand,”he mentioned, pointing at Valerie.
Andry sighs. "Actually, no. I'm not even remotely human. Never was, never have been."
He demonstrates by revealing the code that is him, what humans would call a soul.
Val watches, intent on learning a bit more about her friend. She turns to Jack. "Ah… so you are used to Changelings and Vanishers and their like, yes?"
Etta stares, putting a hand to her mouth. “Gods… it’s beautiful…” She studies the code, then looks back at Aiden. “I’m… sorry. You just seem very…” she goes quiet.
Andry looks confused. "What is there to apologize for, Etta?"
Val continues watching.
Etta shakes her head. “Nothing. Nothing.” She stares at him for just a moment before looking at the gun again. Why does he looks so familiar?
Andry notices the emotions play out subtly across Etta's face. "I do not know. But if it helps, I can not place your face either."
Val silently snorts.
Etta shrugs, crossing her arms. “Don’t go placing my face. I don’t appreciate that.” She says nonchalantly, going back to fiddling with her arm
Andry looks confused but shrugs and drops the subject. "Very well."
Val just continues watching them, confused.
Etta smiles. “It’s a joke, you dunce.” She laughs metallically, pulling out the eye she found in the junkyard and polishing it
Andry sighs. "Of course, mess with the AI that doesn't get humans. Very clever."
Val walks over and places a calming hand on Andry's shoulder.

“Changelings, yes, a form of them at least. Never heard of a Vanisher,”Lucky Jack replied.
He watched the continuing interactions silently. He didn’t understand the mechanics of robots, androids, and the like, but the subject did fascinate him a bit.
