Lights out out at a specific time, no going outside, listen to everyone, speak only when allowed, eat only when allowed. Well what if we could leave and run and go. Just leave this place behind

Personality:Bold, sarcastic, observant of his surroundings (Listening and feeling), Nice, judges people based off of actions, slow to trust others
Backstory: Has been blind since he was born, never knew his parents, been at the orphanage since born. Hates the place.
Other: Constantly has to tell people he is BLIND NOT DEAF. People like yelling in his face to talk to him.

Looks: Tight black suit jacket, raspberry long-sleeved shirt with the top three buttons undone, black three-quarter length jeans with the cuffs rolled up, black lace-up plimsolls, shoulder-length wavy brown hair that parts to the right, dark grey eyes, very pale skin with a few freckles dusting the bridge of their nose, glasses and a piercing in their left ear.
Personality: Stubborn in actions but not in words, tends to act without thinking, a softy on the inside who doesn't want to see anyone get hurt but would gladly harm someone to protect someone they care about.
Backstory: Came from a wealthy background. Sent to the orphanage at 5 years old after parents were killed in a car accident. Never really made any friends at the orphanage but then never tried to change that.
Other: Has a habit of singing or humming to themselves when they're thinking.

It was dark, though to jay it was always dark. He could tell it was morning though by the sounds around him. The birds chirped and downstairs there were voices. the smell of breakfast was also around. He sighed and sat up against the backboard of his bed.

Kale had been awake for quite some time, standing by the barred window beside their bed. Upon hearing movements from Jay's direction, their focus was interrupted and they sat back down on their bed without a single word.

"Hey." Jay said quietly when he heard the movement of Kale across the floor.

Kale glanced over in Jay's direction, a small smile gracing their lips as they mumbled. "Morning, sleep well?"

"yeah. Same as always I guess." He replied then stood up. "What about you?"
