Jordan sighs as he walks out into the hallway. He yawns and scratches the back of his head.

"slightly. I'm going to change then get downstairs." He replied then bent down to where his clothes where and grabbed some random clothes.

"I'll see you down there." Kale muttered, sauntering out of the room. They brushed past the other children without a word on the stairs, humming quietly to themselves until reaching the drab hall where they ate every meal.
Jordan yawns again, stretching his arms above his head as he enters the mess hall

Jay walked over to the bathroom. He knew how to get everywhere by memory.he changed then walked downstairs.

Kale sat at an empty table with their food but as usual they didn't have the appetite. They simply stared at the meal, which could hardly be called edible, and poked at it aimlessly with a spoon.

Jay got food and sat next to Kale like always. By now he knew the placement of the table. "You really should eat." He commented.
Jordan walks over to the food, stares at it for a moment, gags. He walks back over to the room hallway, sitting against the wall. His stomach rumbling

"I know I should, but every day now for as long as I can remember it has been the same old trash and I don't think my stomach can take any more." They glanced around, making sure none of the wandering houseparents were eavesdropping on another of their conversations. Kale caught the eye of one of them, a skinny lady with dirty blonde hair pulled into a bun, and quickly forced themselves to eat the 'food'.

"at least I don't have to look at it." Jay said as he ate it and gaged slightly.
Jordan sighs, banging his head on the wall, bored

Kale didn't respond to Jay, their attention was focused on someone sitting in the hallway. They had seen the boy before, remembering his name to be Jordan, and didn't blame him for not eating. Instead of mentioning anything to Jay, Kale sat in silence, trying not to bring back up the food that had gone down.

Jay finished "I'm going back to the room" he said then walked over to the trash and threw away his paper plate. As he walked to the stairs someone tripped him and laughed.
Jordan looks around at the sound of someone falls and laughter. He jumps to his feet and walks over to the scene, "Hey! What are you doing?"

Jay got up slowly. He wasn't completely sure who just tripped him or was talking. He was just a bit confused.
Jordan runs up to the guy and helps him up, "Hey you ok, man?"

"yeah fine. Stupid people." He sighed.
"Whoa!" He waves his hand infront of the guy's eyes, "Can you see this?"

Jay sighed a bit annoyed. "No. I can't see it. But I can tell by the air that is getting pushed around you are probably waving in my face."

Kale frowned at Jordan from where they were sat at the table, slightly confused as to why the boy felt the need to chime in, but said nothing on the matter. Instead, they whispered. "I'll deal with that kid later." Kale tossed his plate in the bin and joined Jay's side, protectively resting a hand on his shoulder.

Jordan backs away quickly as the other boy walks up. Without a word he ran up the stairs and walked briskly to his room, "Always the outcast. Just trying to help."

Jay heard him leave. "You know I was perfectly fine. Right?" Jay asked Kale.

Kale quickly retracted their hand, shoving both their hands into their jeans pockets. "Yeah, you're not weak. I just.. Never mind." Kale started making their way upstairs.

Jay nodded then walked away to their room. And picked up paper and a pen. Though he could not read awhile ago he had someone teach him how to write.

Kale sighed, ducking into the bathroom while their stomach proceeded to disagree with the food yet again. They sat on the floor by the toilet, resting their head in between their legs. "Ugh… I can't take this anymore!"

"want to try to sneak out later. Try to find actual food." Jay asked then tossed the pencil and notepad to the side.
