"Make you?" Kale raised their eyebrows before quickly grabbing Jordan's collar, practically dragging him down the hallway.
Jordan chokes, "No! I'm not drinking that shit!" He plants his heels

Kale huff, lifting Jordan over their shoulder, carrying him downstairs. "I know it's bad, but it's just for a few more hours. You need proper hydration."
Jordan pushes kale's head, "Hey! what the hell!"

"Cut the crap kid, I'm making sure you don't pass out." They carried him into the mess hall, setting him down in front of the counter with mirky water.
Jordan gags, quickly backing away, shaking his head

"You drink one of these cups and I will eat a plate of your choosing." Kale pointed to the counter with paper plates piled with an inedible substance, their face turning a slight shade of green.
Jordan makes a disgusted face, "no!"

"Will it make you feel better if I have one with you?"
Jordan raises a confused brow, "What?"

"Would you drink one if I did too?"
Jordan narrows his eyes at the other. He sighs as he grabs a cup and dunks it in the 'water.' He looks down at it and shivers, "Gross."

Kale takes another cup and fills it with water. "The longer you look at it the longer it will take for you to drink it." They knock back their water, cringing from the taste, but smile all the same.
Jordan chokes plugs his nose and follows. He gags and some of the 'water' dribbles down his chin. He chugs the rest though and smashes his cup into the filthy counter with a shudder.

"Take it easy." Kale hissed, catching suspicious glares from the houseparents. "Try not to bring too much attention to yourself, or they'll be paying more attention to you than they already do."

Jay walked down stairs and heard gagging and talking. He walked over and leaned on the doorway into the kitchen. "So having fun poisoning yourselves?"

"What do you think wise guy?" Kale sighed, taking a deep breath to try and calm their stomach.

"I'll take that as a yes. Also if you are going expel what you drank, go to the bathroom or the sink."
"THEY FORCED ME TOO!" Jordan whisper shouts

They didn't even reply before moving to the sink to empty their stomach. "I'm done with this crap." They forced the rest out of their system, turning the tap on and leaving their head under the water. "The things I do…"

"Alright. I understand…" Jay said slowly.

They stood up to look at Jay. "What do you understand?"

"you forcing Jordan to drink the water. Even Though it is lethal "
Jordan gags, pushing Kale out if the way to hurl into the sink, "I hate you…"

"Sounds like you are both sick." Jay said and tried not to breath in the smell.

"I'm fine, I'm used to it." Kale huffed, shoving their hands into their pockets. "I'm used to all of it." They mumbled to themselves, forcing the tears to stay inside.
"Why are you crying?"

Kale watched as the houseparents exited the hall, shooing the other kids to their rooms. "I don't cry."
