Hailey and Calliope were nestled in bed close to each other, and Hailey's phone began to ring on her nightstand. She made a move to grab it, but Calliope pulled her back. "Nooo," she moaned into the other's shoulder.
"Calli~" Hailey whined quietly. "What if it's an emergency?"
Calliope groaned and reluctantly let her go.
Hailey rolled over to her side of the bed and answered the call. "Hello?"

I thought someone got into the house, and.. and D'Arcy came up behind me, I accidentally stabbed him, and then he kept putting me down and it hurt.. like really hurt so I got mad and went up stairs to cool off and he followed me up there. when he came in and laid down we really started bickering and he put his hand on my throat, I was scared to I kept avoiding his questions and then he got mad and left!" he rambled on a minute about it being his fault

"Okay okay, hold on," Hailey murmured, sitting upright and pulling the sheet up to cover her chest so Calliope wouldn't make any moves when she was on the phone. "Did you go through the house and make sure no one was there? And where did D'Arcy go?"
At that, Calliope sat up. "D'Arcy?"
