"From what?"
An RP Idea That I Just Came Up With [OPEN!]
“Perfects.”
"But none of them are anywhere near here! Trust me, I've checked." Lucas looked around just in case.
Aaliyah smiled in relief and loosened her grip on her doll.
Lucas lay his head back against the tree, watching the willow's branches swaying in the wind. "It's hard, being imperfect in a perfect world… Isn't it?" He sighed, closing his eyes.
“Yeah…” Aaliyah said sadly, looking up at the swooshing branches.
"People exhaust me. I come here to… recharge, if you will."
“Well now you can run away from everyone but one.”
"Yes. You really don't like to leave me alone, do you?" He stretched and yawned, his ears turning back a bit.
“I’ll never leave you alone.” Aaliyah chirped.
"Lovely." Lucas commented with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. "You know, sometimes I wonder whether we're in the wrong bodies. Because I'm definitely more like a cat, and you a dog."
“I guess…” Aaliyah said, laying down and playing with the blades of grass.
"Cats are more secluded, and… I dunno, introverted. Dogs are usually social, extroverted creatures."
“I see.” Aaliyah said, somehow braiding the blades of grass, “But no matter what, the cat won’t be secluded because the dog will always be there.”
"The dog never leaves the cat alone." Lucas smiled softly, picking a small flower and examining it.
“Mhmm!”
There was a noise from afar, and one of Lucas's ears swiveled in its direction. "What was that?" He lowered the hand holding the flower.
Aaliyah’s ears twitched trying to pick up more sound, Aaliyah’s face filled with panic.
"Can you see what it is?" Lucas's heart started racing, and he turned his ears back.
(oH SHOOT WHO IS IT. QAQ)
(uUhHHHMmmmM perfect?)
(OKAY. QAQ)
“I think it’s a perfect.” Aaliyah whispered.
Lucas froze, unsure what to do. He glanced up at Aaliyah, his heart pounding in his throat.
Aaliyah slowly stood up against the side the tree, “Do you think we should hide in the tree?”
"Um, p-probably, but I'm not sure I know how to climb. That's more of a cat thing…" He pressed himself against the side of the tree, tucking his tail between his legs.
“I can help you up, it’s really spacious up there.” Aaliyah said, shuffling over to Lucas.
Lucas whimpered but grabbed onto Aaliyah's arm as the stranger drew closer, nodding slightly to show he had heard.
After Aaliyah got herself and Lucas safely on top of the tree, she warily eyed the bellow.
(Scared smol children. ;-;)
Lucas clung to a branch, feeling unstable and very out of his element. He watched the stranger pass by before hearing a cracking noise. The branch he was on snapped beneath his weight, sending him plummeting towards the ground. He cried out in fear, the wind knocked out of him on impact. Luckily, the stranger was already far off and hadn't heard.
“Oh my gosh Lukey.” Aaliyah grumbled, she leapt out of the tree and checked his pulse, “He lives.” She said before dragging him to the side.
