"Can you think of any other job that will help us get out then?" Liam asked, hitting the wall harder.

"Let's take her book and use that too."

“Making a radio a la Black Widow and someone coming to rescue us?”

“No. My book is precious.”

"And my hammer is precious but I'm using it on cement."

“I have a scalpel?”

“Yes but my book is not useful in breaking us out. Your hammer is.”

"My hammer is meant for wood, not rock."

“Oh well. It’s a hammer nonetheless.”

"Ok!" Liam said, backing up even though he could still hammer the wall more, "Do you want to try then?"

“Nope. I’m weak.”

He let out a sigh, "You just don't want to do anything."

“Pretty much,” Mara smiled.

"Uhh… women.." He muttered, going back to the hammering.

"Hey don't slam women." Ellis said. "They brought you into this world they can sure as hell take you out!"

"I know, that's why the good lord gave me four sisters."

“Yeah, don’t disrespect women,” Allegria chimed in, then she nodded at Ellis, “I like him, can we keep him?”

“No, we are all escaping and never seeing each other again,” Mara mumbled.

"But why?" He whispered to Mara.

“Because PTSD, is why. Also i have no desire to relive this expirience in any way, shape, or form.”

"Fine," Liam said blankly as he hit the wall, "you can go home and forget about us, the people that helped you out of this place."

“Exactly. Thank you for understanding.” Mara stood up and walked over to the wall. “YOu may want to aim for there,” she said quietly, pointing to a spot. “Less structural support.”

"I know that." Liam lied, hitting where she had pointed.

“‘Kay,” Mara said, returning to her corner and opening her kindle. “Have fun hitting a wall.”

"Have fun forgetting people exist." He blurted, hitting the wall even harder.

“Oh, trust me, I do,” Mara mumbled.

"What is wrong with you?!" He hissed, dropping the hammer and turning to her.
