Rose was sat in a city park, legs crossed in the grass. He had no idea where he was, exactly, just that there were many humans, noises, and buildings. His wings were invisible to the human eye, and he watched with a curious gaze as humans passed by.
"Um, any reason you chose Manhattan?" He didn't really have a fear of heights, but ever since he essentially lost his wings, it made him a bit anxious. After all, he had no way to save himself if he fell.
“No. It was just the first city that came to mind.” Mara didn’t mention that she had always wanted to go to Manhattan, nor that she had finally made up her mind to find a bit of closure.

"Okay." Nathaniel was silent for the rest of the way down. Nothing he could say felt like it would be beneficial for moving the conversation forwards.
Mara let go of Nathaniel three feet over 1st Avenue and hid her smile at his perfect landing. “Want me to come with you? Or can I just go my usual way to Central Park?”

Name: Caelum Angelo (First Name Mean's Heaven/Sky)
Age (physical/actual): Looks 17, but is closer to 150ish.
Species: Fallen Angel
Appearance: Brown hair (A little bit more on the darker side), amber/hazel eyes, white wings with coppery splotches. One of her wings is almost chipped on the side/defected, keeping her from flying very well. Her wings have started to turn gray at the bottom from her sins.
Personality: Mischievous, humorous, only takes certain things seriously. She's very loyal, intelligent, and brave.
Other: Caelum had been cast out of Heaven for helping a demon, but has kept her wings. She is well known is Heaven. She has three siblings; two girls, one boy. (Athena, Layla, and Leo.) They are all in Heaven, and pretend that she never existed. Caelum has been trying to find a way to redeem herself because she wants to see her family again.

"Er, please come with me, if you wouldn't mind." Nathaniel said awkwardly. He didn't think Mara knew about his fear of being alone.
“Oh. Yeah, sure,” Mara said, folding her wings and walking alongside Nate. “So, um… how are you doing these days?”
"I'm… I'm okay, I guess." Lying? Not really… I'm doing better, aren't I? Do you honestly believe that? … "Some days are better than others…"
“Yeah,” Mara sighed. “I know.” She’d want you to move on, she reminded herself.
"It's always worse if I think about it… but it's hard not to sometimes, you know?" Nathaniel could still vividly picture Lloyd's death, and him crippling his wings.
“Flashed in your head, yeah,” Mara agreed, nodding once sharply.

Nathaniel nodded as well. "Without warning. It can be quite startling."

Rose ran his fingers through the glass, feeling the delicate blades. Earth was definitely one of his favorite worlds. Hell was so barren and destructive, and he had never seen Heaven before. So, this was his favorite place. A nice spot in the outdoors.

“Yeah,” Mara said. “Do you want to go to that candy bar you said you wanted to try?”
"Um, o-okay." Nathaniel looked around the park. He had never been in this area before, at least not that he could remember. He liked to come down to earth when he could, though not being able to fly made it pretty difficult.
“Alright. Keep walking, just a few more blocks.”
"Yes, ma'am." Walking was something that Nathaniel was good at at this point, and luckily he could still walk in heaven. He was incredibly light, so not flying wasn't too much of a hindrance. He followed Mara quietly, looking at people as they passed by.
Inside, Mara was freaking out. There’s the statue she always wanted to see. And that’s the restaurant she spent weeks researching. Oh, look, that’s where she said she wanted to live in another life.
"Are you okay?" Nathaniel looked up at Mara, seeming concerned. "You're zoned out."
“Oh.” Mara said, startled out of her reverie. “Yeah, I’m, uh-“ she cleared her throat “-I’m fine.”
Hmm… Not believable, but I'll leave her alone. He nodded and continued walking. It's probably personal.
“So. Here we are,” Mara said, guiding Nathaniel to a stop outside Dylan’s Candy Bar. “Want to go in?”
