Cicada reached a hand out and lit a small flame in the center of her palm, giving both her and the girl sight. She took a good look at the mortal figure, not bad for a human. The girl was quite pretty actually, but not up to Cicada's standards.
Angels, Demons and Humans// Open!
She looked her in the eyes and watched her study her face, her nervousness building in her stomach.
Cicada looked back into the mortals eyes. She had a lazy smile on as she asked her, "What's your name little girl?"
"Nikki" she replied, a little blush going across her cheeks. It didn't matter what she thought, the demon would think of her as inferior anyways.
Cicada saw red bloom onto the mortal's cheeks. Mayhap she could use that to her advantage. Her voice continued in a more sweet commanding tone, "Well Nikki. You are mine, and no one else's. Understand little one?"
She was tempted to slap her but knew it'd only get her in trouble, "No" she muttered, her eyes threatening and her blush dissipating.
Cicada growled slightly as her hand with the flame moved closer to Nikki's face, "What was that?"
Nikki cried out even though the walls of the bunker were soundproofed.
Cicada used her other hand and pushed Nikki against the wall. She barked at the girl, "Answer me!"
"No!" she screamed, cicada's hand in the middle of her chest.
Cicada growled and pushed on Nikki even harder then before. She narrowed her eyes, "Did I give you an option?!"
"No…" she mumbled, tears coming down her face as if someone had just poured a bucket of water on her face. Her body was shaking and hot, the bunkers humidity making her sweat.
Cicada released her slightly. She raised her nose up, "So who do you belong to?"
"You" she mumbled, her eyes going to her timidly.
Cicada smiled as she pulled her flame back towards her. She used her other hand and rubbed the top of Nikki's head, "That's right. You're mine, now don't ever try to argue against it again."
She whimpered quietly, trying to see the girl in the darkness. She little light that peeked through blocked off doors and such was so faint that she could barely see her hands in front of herself.
Cicada forcefully grabbed Nikki's hand and started to drag her out of the bunker. She was excited to have a little mortal at her side now, "Come now little one."
Nikki snatched her bow and arrow, following her unwillingly. "Wait, I just want to say one more goodbye to my brother," she said, her eyes on his closed.
Cicada looked towards the corpse in the building. She looked back to the little human, "Fine, you can go do that."
As soon as she let go over her hand she stumbled over to her brother, holding his cold, dead body in her arms. She fumbled with her gun as she pressed her body close to his, putting the last bit of ammo the girl gave her into the gun and placing the gun in her backpack. She kissed his forehead and laid his body down flat on the rubble, kissing the corps' head before going back over to the…she didn't know what to call her anymore.
Cicada smiled as the mortal returned to her side. She took the girls hand and began to walk out of the building. If Nikki's brother was dead, then what family did she have left? Most likely none, so Cicada would be all the young girl had. She could not have picked a better person!
Maria noticed Cicada. "Great there she is…"
Cicada looked to Nikki. Her attention making sure the little human didn't runaway, "Let's go to your new home."
Ashton was perched on a rooftop watching the people in the city. He sighed and fixed his hood before jumping off the low roof onto a lower roof the onto the ground. He walked around for a bit before turning into a dark alley, looking for some fun
Aria stopped to catch her breath, hearing the demon searching for her as she quietly walked to the other edge of the building. She smashed another window with the back of her pistol before looking down at the ground and seeing another alleyway. "Good enough," She muttered before scrambling into the alleyway and checking that her gun was still loaded.
Cicada looked to Nikki. Her attention making sure the little human didn't runaway, "Let's go to your new home."
She frowned lightly and followed her, trying to keep up with the speed that she was going.
Cicada slowed down slightly, just so the mortal Nikki could keep up easier.
Nikki tripped over a pile of rubble and caught herself on her feet, whining ever-so-slightly
Cicada rolled her eyes and looked to Nikki, "Do you need me to carry you Nikki?"
"No, I'm fine" she replied, the offer making heat rise to her cheeks. No tint was there but she was sure demons could detect heat of any kind.
