It tempted her stomach which started growling hungrily. Mal hummed as he cooked, enjoying himself.

Aliyia moves towards the kitchen. "How…?"

Mal looked over his shoulder. “It’s called cooking.”

"No shit Sherlock" Aliyia retorts. "I'm saying I wasn't hungry and now I am."

Mal hummed. “I’m planning on baking a cake, too.”

"Why are you doing this….? I'm a demon…" Aliyia whispers.

Mal huffed. “Because I am your Guardian and I am required to serve you.”

"You don't need to…" Aliyia whispers quietly.

“It is a requirement. I must.”

"But…" Alliyia whispers.

Mal shook his head. “Silence.”

Aliyia opens her mouth to speak then saying nothing. She turns and walks to her kitchen.

Mal stirred up the food, relaxing into the wall. I wish I could leave.
