"Alright then!" he pushed open the door and led the way back to his room. "I'll just get the mix. You can sit down, if you'd like." Logan said gesturing to the couch, before realizing there was stuff everywhere. "Oh- yeah lemme just-" He moved some of the things and made a space for Skye. "-yeah there."
Anyone wanna RP? BRING IDEAS PLEASE!! (O/O OPEN)
Skye laughed, grinning as he sat on the edge of the couch trying not to fanboy.
Logan went to the kitchen and grabbed the mix. He warmed the milk and poured mix into it. "And here it is!" he said trying not to spill any as he carried it toward Skye.
Skye grinned, "I think this might just be the best day of my life." he said.
Logan's eyes sparkled as he drank a sip of hot chocolate. "Today's definitely better now that I have a friend."
Skye sipped his too. Grinning like a loon.
Logan looked at Skye's smile. And that is a cute smile… He looked away quickly before speaking, "Sorry about the mess. I'm actually in a little bit of a pickle with some…stuff…"
Skye watched him, "What sort of pickle?" he asked, not really minding the mess.
"Legality and music stuff. Didn't realize what I had signed up for…" he rubbed his neck anxiously.
"Well don't talk to me about legal.." he said, "As a street rat half of what I do to survive is borderline illegal."
Logan couldn't help but to laugh. "I just need to escape this deal. But that would risk so much. And I don't know how to dance around the legality of all of it." He stopped. "But you don't actually care about any of that! Sorry. Just a little stressed about it and I can't stop thinking about it." He chuckled.
Skye took a moment to process what he'd said. "Why do you need to escape the deal?" He asked curiously.
(my mental health has taken another dive so i apologize for not responding)
Logan waved his hand as if to dismiss it. "It's…complicated."
(It's alright._
Skye watched him for a moment, "And since when are problems simple?"
(OOF)
(sorry fam my mental health decided to n o p e itself but i'll try to reply at least daily again)
Logan scratched his neck. "Well you're right about that at least. I can barely make sense of it at all." He smiled as if to ward off the anxiety it was causing him.
(It's okay, I was more worried about it dying entirely,)
Skye nodded, "Need someone to rant to?" he asked.
Logan glanced at Skye. "Well… maybe." He thought for a second. On the one hand, he didn't want to burden anyone, but then again, the chance of them meeting again was pretty slim. But they'd stay in touch, if Logan could help it. "It's really confusing to me."
Skye shrugged, "I'm all ears, and hey, maybe I could help" he said.
Logan shrugged. "Okay, well I signed a label and now I'm on tour and everything. But it's a little too much to demand and I can't find a way to escape this. It's not looking good for me." He explained.
"Not looking good for you how?" Asked Skye, a little curious.
Logan rubbed his neck, anxiously. Thinking about it made him nervous because he really wasn't sure what was going to happen. "Well it's just really really demanding. I honestly don't know what to do about it. Besides run. But something tells me that's not gonna end well…" he flashed a quick smile, so as not to think about it in too much of a bad way.
"Since when does running ever end well…" said Skye, finishing his hot chocolate. "Though I understand stressed out…"
He nodded. "Indeed." He got up to take the empty mug to the kitchen sink so he could clean it later. When he grabbed the mug from Skye's hands, their fingers touched for just a moment and Logan felt electric in those few seconds. Whoa…
Skye felt it too, blinking in surprise for just a moment. Shaking it off as static shock he smiled up at the other. "So… what do you do when you're not dealing with fans?" he asked, curious.
"Besides practicing, I'm assuming. Well, I read. And I used to play violin. Though, I haven't had as much time for that." Logan explained. He glanced at the violin case across the room.
Skye noted it, "Which books?" he asked.
"Fantasy. I absolutely love fantasy. Like… there's something fascinating about people who are able to create completely new worlds in text. It's like… I don't know… awespiring I guess." His mind thought of the book he had read when he was so much younger, a book about a boy being introduced to an entirely new world and his shook forever, and he liked to think he was that boy when he opened up a new book.
Skye smiled, "Yeah… but sometims you have to feel sorry for the people in those books, I mean… their lives must be so much harder sometimes…" If only you knew…
Logan shrugged. "Well, yeah. With great power comes great responsibility." he said in a joking manner. "And with great responsibility comes greater problems!" he added. "I mean, that's kinda how it works in those books. There has to be some problem for them."
