She pulled out bacon, eggs, and a pancake mix (I'm just gonna assume he had those-) and started to work on making him breakfast as quietly as she could.
When she finished, she gathered everything up on a tray and gently knocked on Winter's bedroom door

@ElderGod-Icefire

Winter didn't reply, still asleep.
Ash followed her quietly.

Astra opened his door as quietly as she could and set the tray down on his table (or smtn-). She tiptoed over to him and saw how nice he looked when he was asleep. He looks like he's nice when he's asleep. She gently shook him awake

@ElderGod-Icefire

Winter groaned softly, opening his eyes. "Huh? Cad é, máthair? An bhfuil rud éigin cearr?" He said, then blinked. "Oh. It's you." He realized, rubbing his eyes.

(That's Irish, right?)

Ignoring his Irish ramblings, she said, "I made you breakfast."

@ElderGod-Icefire

(yeah)

He blinked. "Oh. Okay. You… didn't have to do that."

Astra shushed him and handed him the tray. "Eat this, or else." She warned him with an only slightly- threatening tone. She started to make her way back to the kitchen

@ElderGod-Icefire

He rolled his eyes, and started eating. "Okay…" He said slowly, eating cautiously.

Before she left his room, she turned and asked, "Is it good? I used my secret ingredient!"

@ElderGod-Icefire

He paused. "And what is the secret ingredient?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

She rolled her eyes. "Extra sugar, you dummy. Did you think I was going to poison you?" She shook her head in mock disbelief. "After all we've been through." She paused, flashed him a smile, and went back into the kitchen to look for cat food.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He rolled his eyes. "You never know." He muttered.

She found a bag of cat food, and poured some for Ash in a little bowl. "There you go, little guy…" she smiled at the cat and gave a him a gentle scratch behind the ears.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Ash started eating, purring softly for a moment.
Winter kept eating.

Astra bounced into Winter's room, ignoring her growling stomach. "Do you like it?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

He nodded. "Yeah. Are you going to eat?" He asked.

"On a scale of 1-10, how much do you like it?" She grinned at him, avoiding the question.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He shrugged. "Are you going to eat?" He asked again.

"Are you going to answer my question?" She leaned against the doorway and crossed her arms.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Are you going to answer mine?" He retorted.

"If you answer mine, then maybe!" She replied, still grinning

@ElderGod-Icefire

He rolled his eyes.

She sat down on his bed, purposefully getting close to him. "So, am I great cook or a mediocre cook?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

"In the middle." He replied.

She frowned slightly and took his (empty) tray away from him. "Rude. You're supposed to say I'm the best." She quickly left and washed off his plates.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He chuckled, getting out of bed. "Well. It's already established that I'm rude."

Astra looked down at Ash and his empty bowl. She pet him, and took the bowl so she could wash that as well. "Ok, that's true."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Winter closed the door, getting dressed quickly.
Ash sat down and started cleaning himself.

Astra wondered if she should leave. I've probably overextended my stay, anyway. She wrote a quick note and quietly tiptoed her way to the entryway, not wanting to bother Winter anymore. At least, for now. Plus, she wanted to take a shower at her own home.

(i just realized how many commas i use and im having a small existential crisis)

@ElderGod-Icefire

Winter came out of his room, stretching. "Leaving?" He asked, not surprised.
