"I know." He replied with a soft laugh. The alcohol had kicked in, loosening him up a bit, so he wasn't so uptight.

Astra set down her bottle and raised her head to look at him. "Listen buddy," she smirked. "I don't know what your deal is, but you should learn how to have fun once in a while."

Winter grinned. "I already had my fun." He replied.

"Oh really?" She returned his grin, her curiosity growing. "What, did you walk into an arcade once?"

"Yeah." He replied. "It was overwhelming." He said sarcastically.

"I figured." She paused, taking another sip. "But in all seriousness, I don't believe you when you say that you've ever done something fun. There's just no way."

Winter shook his head. "When you've been to one party, you've been to them all." He replied.

She choked on her drink. "You went to a party? Woah, calm down there, Winter!" She said sarcastically, laughing.

A party? I went to Julius Caesar's parties. I went to…so many. He laughed. "Mhm."

"Not all the parties are the same, you know… Especially not mine." She flashed him a mischievous smirk.

He rolled his eyes. "Oh really? And what are your parties like?"

"The best kind!" She giggled. "They're not too loud, but they're not too quiet. And I try to make the celebration really meaningful." She smiled, a strange gleam appearing in her eyes.

He raised an eyebrow. "If you say so." He replied, unconvinced.

"You'll see soon enough…" Astra mumbled. She yawned and said, "I want you to do something for me."

"Maybe. What?" He asked, looking at her quizzically.

She slammed her hand down on the table and leaned closer to him. "Act recklessly for once. Like a normal human being would."

He blinked, considering. "For how long?" He asked.

"For the rest of your life!" She crossed her arms.

He started laughing.

"I'm serious!" she pouted slightly

He kept laughing. The rest of my life?? She's has no idea what she's asking!

"Why are you laughing so much?" She tilted her head. "I don't think I've seen you laugh." He looks good when he laughs.

Winter stopped. "Sorry. Just…you have no idea what you're asking." He explained.

"I think I made myself pretty clear, Winter. I know what I asked."

"No, not really." Winter replied. He shook his head.

She reached across the table and grabbed him by the shoulders. "Act. Reckless. Like a human." She shook him slightly before letting go and sinking back to her seat.

Winter sighed. "Why?" He asked, looking at her.

She shrugged. "You need to live life to its fullest. You may think you're gonna live forever, but it could end at any second. Why not just experience everything you want?"

But I know I'm going to live forever. He just shrugged. "Fine."

Astra clapped her hands together. "Really? that's great!"
