Andion flipped through his book, nothing else of interest coming to light in this one.

Blaine sighed as she finished her own book not long after, that one empty as well. She picked up another book and stopped almost immediately.

"Andion, I found some more," she said, looking at more circled words and runes.

Andion frowned a little at the runes, confused, “What does it mean? It’s all just jumbled…”

"What if they're all connected somehow? Well, I mean they obviously are, but… What if we try to put them all together?" Blaine suggested.

@ElderGod-Carrots

“I can’t read the runes though, can you? I think we need to find another person who can read them and see if they can make any sense of it.” Andion said, biting his lip.

"Yeah, that would make sense. Is there any chance you could copy them down?" Blaine wondered, glancing at him.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Andion nodded, “Yeah, I probably could. Do you have a pencil and paper?”

"Um… Hold on," Blaine said as she carefully set her book down and stood up. She crossed to the bookshelf and bent down to grab something from the bottom. Straightening up again, she walked back over to Andion and handed him a paper and pencil.

@ElderGod-Carrots

“Thank you.” Andion muttered before getting to work on copying the runes and the words onto the page.

"No problem," Blaine said as she looked around the room.

In the far corner, hidden by shadows, was a small figure. Blaine peered at it for a moment before walking over to it and picking it up. She now held in her hand a miniature stuffed wolf, its gray fur coated in a thick layer of dust. She took a shaking breath as she looked at it and wiped some of the dust off.

Her mother had made it for her when she was just a baby, having been a master seamstress. It's golden eyes still reflected back at her, and it's fur, though covered in dust, was still definitely gray.

Andion looked up at Blaine, his eyes softening as he saw the wolf in her hand. He sighed a little and shook his head, going back to his work.

“Okay… all done.” He eventually said.

Blaine looked up at his words.

"You copied everything over?" she asked, the wolf still in her hand as she made her way over. It was like her hand wouldn't let her put it down, and she didn't really want to.

@ElderGod-Carrots

"Everything that we found, yes." Andion replied, showing Blaine the back and the front of the page.

"Great. Should we look for more, then?" Blaine asked as she sat down beside him again, setting the wolf on her other side.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Andion nodded, "That would be a good idea," He looked to the wolf, "Mind if I ask what that is?"

Blaine glanced over at the wolf and shrugged.

"Just something my mother gave me when I was little," she explained, her voice quiet.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Andion sighed a little and nodded, "Okay… sorry for asking."

"It's okay…" Blaine assured him, shaking her head to clear it. "Just brings back memories, you know?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

Andion shook his head this time, "No, I don't know but I can imagine." He sighed and picked up another book.

"…Sorry," Blaine murmured, biting her lip as she picked up another book for herself.

Stop feeling sorry for yourself. He just lost his best friend; you should be comforting him, not throwing yourself a pity party.

@ElderGod-Carrots

“It’s fine, Blaine. You have nothing to be sorry for.” Andion gave her a small smile beforemgoing back to the book on his lap.

"Okay… If you're sure," Blaine murmured, still looking down at her book.

@ElderGod-Carrots

“I’m sure…” Andion replied, placing a kiss to her cheek before flipping another page.

Autumn smiled a bit at the kiss and continued to flip through the book in her lap.

"Find anything else yet?" she asked after a while.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Andion shook his head a little, "No, nothing else in this book. What about you?"

"Not yet… Wait! Oh, no. Never mind," Blaine mumbled, closing the book and picking up a new one.

@ElderGod-Carrots

"I don't think there's anything else…" Andion said, picking up the last book.

"You never know," Blaine said with a shrug as she flipped through the one in her lap.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Andion sighed and nodded a little before flipping though his book. Still there was nothing in his.

Blaine set her book down with a sigh. It looked like Andion was right. Nothing was left to find.
