"Oh. Yeah, the trip." Nik replied, snuggling closer to Eclipse. He wrinkled his nose. "This sounds like it's going to be a miserable journey." he smiled a little bit. "I mean…not that I don't love being with you. I just don't like traveling."

Eclipse hummed, "I have to agree with that statement. I mean, I don't mind roughing it, but travel is always boring."
"Plus horses don't always like me." Nik replied. "Because of…because of the monster." he let out a breath, staying close to Eclipse.

Eclipse hummed softly, "I know the feeling… but you should be okay, these horses are specially trained to not spook for us wolf shifters.. so they should be okay with you."
Nik nodded. "Alright." he replied softly, letting out a breath. He snuggled closer to Eclipse, closing his eyes. "I love you."

Eclipse smiled, resting his chin on the others head, "Love you too" he said softly.
Nik kept his eyes closed. He smiled a little bit, leaning against Eclipse's chest.

Eclipse smiled too, holding him close as the continued onwards
Nik eventually started to fall asleep, lulled to sleep by the rocking movement of the horse, and Eclipse's heartbeat.

Eclipse didn't disturb him, simply holding him close to his chest as they rode for Tesh.
Nik continued to sleep, cuddled up against Eclipse's chest.

Eclipse didn't mind the fact that the other slept, letting his mind wander a little as they rode on for most of the day, beginning to look for a place to stop when the sun began to set.
Nik awoke at some point later, blinking sleepily and looking around. He shifted against Eclipse.

Eclipse hummed, "Hullo sleeping beauty." he said, smiling down at the other.
Nik smiled a little. "Hi." he mumbled sleepily.

"Sleep well?" he asked, smiling down at him.
Nik nodded tiredly. "Mhm." he replied, looking up at Eclipse.

Eclipse nodded, his eyes flicking back to pay attention to where they were going. "That's good"
Nik smiled a little bit, taking a deep breath. "How has the ride been?"

"Boring" said Eclipse, "Though it's better than many things that could've happened."
Nik gave a soft laugh, nodding and snuggling close to Eclipse. "That's good." He replied with a faint smile.

Eclipse smiled when the other cuddled into him, "How're you feeling love?"
"Better." Nik replied honestly, shooting Eclipse a faint smile. "Much better."

Eclipse smiled even more, "Good to hear love." he murmured.
Nik closed his eyes for a moment. "I'm sorry I've been sleeping so much." He said softly. "I just… I don't know."

"Don't worry about it love," he said, "There's no need to be upset."
"Alright. I just…I guess I'm not very good company." Nik let out a little laugh, shaking his head.

Nik smiled a little. "Alright." He replied softly. He leaned against Eclipse.
