Nik looked up at him. "Thank you for everything." He said softly.

Eclipse smiled a little, "You shouldn't be thanking me yet." he said softly.
Nik shrugged. "Why not?" He asked, brushing back a lock of hair.

"Because I don't deserve anyone as sweet as you" he said softly.
Nik wrinkled his nose. "Nah." he kissed Eclipse's cheek. "You deserve better."

"No I don't.." he said softly, "I couldn't ask for better than you."
Nik shrugged slightly. "Maybe." He replied. He kissed Eclipse's cheek sweetly.

Eclipse smiled, moving to press a chaste kiss to his lips.
Nik kissed him back gently, smiling at Eclipse. "I'm glad I get to stay with you. Even if it's…not for the greatest of reasons." He said softly.

Eclipse sighed, "Forget the reasons and just enjoy it." he said softly.
Nik shrugged a little bit. "I can't forget." He replied softly. He closed his eyes for a moment.

"Fair, but maybe put it behind you?" said Eclipse softly.
Nik shrugged a little, thinking of his father, of Seren, of everything that had happened. "I…I'll try." He whispered.

"You don't have to do it right now, jsut.. eventually, try to come to peace with it all."
Nik nodded a little. "I'll…I'll try." He said softly.

Eclipse nodded, giving him a reassuring smile, "I love you" he murmured.
"I love you too." Nik replied softly, kissing Eclipse's cheek.

Eclipse smiled, hugging him briefly with one arm before returning to his food, smiling at the other between bites.
Nik hugged him back, then kept eating.

Nik was quiet, eating.

Nik snuggled closer to Eclipse, closing his eyes for a moment.
