Jordan looked at Christina and shrugged. "We can always talk a different time. We should go."

“It’s up to you!” She smiled and walked to her room to get ready

"Okay," Christina agreed. She put on a maroon colored hoodie over her T-shirt. It was supposed to be chilly outside today.

Aspen got ready and put her phone and wallet in the small bag she took. She came out of her room

Christina met her with a half smile and cloudy gaze. "Ready?" she asked tightly.

“Sure!” She said and called the elevator

Christina waited behind Aspen patiently. Patience naturally came easy for her.

The elevator came up and they got in. “So…” she began

Christina shuffled her feet anxiously.

Aspen sighed “do you have powers like auntie Wanda?” She asked

Christina nodded. Inside her hoodie's front pocket, her fingers danced. Her rings clicked occasionally. This was so awkward. How could one person be so awkward.

Jordan sighed and walked back to his chair in the living room.

Kira walked into the living room and saw Jorden, "Oh Hi Jorden!" She greeted before she saw his expression. "are you ok?"

"Hey. Yeah, I'm fine." He waved to Kira.

Christina nodded. Inside her hoodie's front pocket, her fingers danced. Her rings clicked occasionally. This was so awkward. How could one person be so awkward.

“Cool! Can I see?” She asked as the wlevator stopped and opened

"Hey. Yeah, I'm fine." He waved to Kira.

"Cool, cool I guess. So what's happening?" Kira asked as she sat down next to him.

Christina nodded. Inside her hoodie's front pocket, her fingers danced. Her rings clicked occasionally. This was so awkward. How could one person be so awkward.

“Cool! Can I see?” She asked as the wlevator stopped and opened

Christina hesitantly nodded. Her powers… weren't fully developed yet, and she tended to get out of control. But Aspen looked so eager… maybe she could finally make a friend! She stepped out of the elevator.

“Let’s go to the park and then show me!” Aspen said

"Oh… Okay." In front of people. Yeah, that always went over well. She paced a little slower than usually to the main doors.

They went to the park. Coming to an area that wasn’t filled with people

Christina hesitantly took her hands out of her pockets. Her rings caught in the Sun, throwing the light across the park.

“I like your rings!” Aspen said

"Thanks," Christina replied shyly. She looked around for something to just move.

"Hey. Yeah, I'm fine." He waved to Kira.

"Cool, cool I guess. So what's happening?" Kira asked as she sat down next to him.

"Nothing too interesting, trying to avoid my dads ever watching eye as usual." He tried to catch himself. He was out of character. "I mean whatever, who cares anyway?"

Kira raised her eye. "Jorden, whats going on?"

"Thanks," Christina replied shyly. She looked around for something to just move.

Aspen smiles and sat down, watching her

Christina didn't want to hurt anyone. "I… I can't…"

“It’s ok! You don’t have too!” She said

"Sorry," Christina muttered, embarassedly.
