(Can you translate what Groot means by "I am Groot!" ?) "I am Mantis. Who are you?" Mantis asked.

(Well they don't exactly do that in the movie, also doesn't Thor speak Groot?)

(Yeah but other dialogue implies what Groot means.)

(Shrug.. I suppose thats what makes rping Groot so easy, and also I just find it funnier when he just says that.)

"Why are you here?" asked Thor

"Because we're on our way to a party. We crashed, idiot! Anybody can see that!" Peter said, using the most sarcastic tone a human could possibly manage.

“Wait you sound human?” Steve said lowering his shield

"Humans can live in space too, just like Thor here." Natasha spoke up. "If theres something wrong with the engine, we can take you to a friend of ours." She suggested.

“We need a name first.” He said to the human

“Yeah right that’s not your name.” Steve rolls his eyes

"Yes it is. People from space get cool names because…. because reasons." Peter said, using a mock offended tone.

“Ok then star lord, we need you to come with us.” He said

"Why do you need me to come with you again? Once I get my ship up and running I can leave this stinking planet. I see no reason to come with you."

“Well you destroyed some corn and I think the farmers want revenge.” He shrugged

"Yes, farmers with primitive technology that could be easily disabled."

"Where do you all come from?" asked Thor.

"Peter is from Earth. My home planet was Peter's father." Mantis explained, as if everything she was saying actually made sense.
