Avengers: Second Generation

"That's fine, and Yes I am Ashley. You a new recruit here?"

Liana sobbed, she hated her life.

"Yeah, I'm joining today actually." Lucas said.

Liana hoped to greet the boy, but keep away from Ashley. How to go about this?

"Cool. You'll be accompanied by me and possibly by Aya and Liana. Loki's daughters. Oh, and Aelin((If she is a recruit. If not just ignore that bit.))" Ashley said.

She had waited until Ashley had seemingly left. She walked in, to hear the words 'Loki,s Daughters'

How dare she talk about me! That cruel jerk!

"Wow," Lucas said,"So I take it that was another recruit who you were arguing with?"

Ashley turned to see Liana. "Speak of the devil."

"Yeah, Liana isn't my favorite person."

"I'm sure I'm not her favorite either." Ashley said, recollecting their argument from earlier and frowning slightly.

Liana started to cry. She was silent, yet there were tears all the same.

Lucas thought before responding." In my experience, albeit very limited, you don't have to like each other to work together. You're good a things and she's good at other's, just gotta find the common ground, like…" He thought a moment."Well I don't know either of you too well, but there's probably some there."

Liana had no idea Ashley would say things about her behind her back. She checked her phone again, and her mum had responded. Her father would be coming to say hello later in the week, she thought, well, dad, I really wish you weren't coming.

"Maybe, but I'm sure she doesn't want to talk to me at the moment. The fight wasn't great for either side."

Liana wished she looked less like her dad. She even wore a similar outfit. She ripped off the cloak and walked over to her room. Even though mortal clothes are horrid feeling, I suppose I should wear them. I should look normal.

"True, it was brutal." Lucas said," But hey now you have something in common, and we can keep talking but I was actually sent to you because they said you give a mean tour."

She realized that looking normal was the way to go. Liana wanted to be herself, but now she had to put on a different face.

"Oh, yeah. I'm assuming you're staying here?"

"I guess," Lucas said thinking about it." Yeah, I think I am."

Liana walked out, in a green t-shirt and green jeans.

Lucas turned to face the girl who walked in, "Hi, I'm Lucas." he said with a wave.

"Hi, I'm… a person."

(Wait Liana still looks the same feature wise right?)

"Oh, uh. What's up person?" He asked slightly confused.

"Hey, you new here? We're just about to go on a tour if you'd like to come." Ashley said to the girl that had just entered the room.
