Ashley reached into her pocket and pulled out a piece of tech she grabbed earlier and a few batteries. "Will this work?"
She handed it to him then walked to a table, she quickly wrapped some thin-ish metal to wires and connected them to batteries. "Here!" She tossed it to him. "Use this"

Lucas used the hastily made contraption to shock Liana above her heart.

"NOOO! DON'T DO THAT!" Liana yelled, sitting up, and letting out yet another shockwave making Lucas go flying through the roof.

Liana got buried under some roof rubble. "Ow…"

Sitting on the roof, I hold my glass of chocolate milkshake quite loosely, the straw poking in and out of the glass as I listen to several police sirens and cars beeping. Average New York. Suddenly a boy flies through the roof, almost floating in the air for a moment. I slurp the last of the milkshake as I watch his body slowly rising up. Placing the glass down, I walk towards him. His eyes are wide and face shock-stricken, so hopefully, he's gonna still be awake when I catch him. I wrap my arms around his chest, tucking my head into his shoulder so he doesn't get whiplash, and 'catch' his body. Time suddenly comes back with vengeance as rubble speeds past the two of us, luckily not hitting a target. "You're new." I smile.

"A little help!" Liana yelled, her cloak in tatters.

(Also, I've just finished Doctor Who marathon, and season ten? OMIGOODNESS Bill is amazing, she's a role model. Also, she portrays perfectly the LGBT+ community, it's really funny the part where the doctor puts the TARDIS in her bedroom, and the Pope walks out, ruining her date, so she tells a bunch of religious people "You're all going to hell." after disturbing her date with her Maybe? girlfriend. That cracked me up.)
