"Sure, I'll go ask Madeline for some paper, be right back." Kyle quickly removed himself from the doorway.

Kasey sighed, dropping back down to Liam’s side to bury her face in his shoulder. “How do you feel, love?” she murmured into his shirt.
"Hm?" Liam replied sleepily, "Achy, but fine overall."

“Let me know if you need anything, okay? I’ll go ask Madeline for it,” Kasey said softly, looking up at him with a small smile.
Liam smiled down at her and nodded, "I know, I will."
Kyle came back a moment later, handing Kasey a piece of paper with his number on it, "Here you are. Text me if you need anything."

Kasey shifted again to take the paper with a smile, not sitting up this time. “Thanks, I’ll do that. Be safe, Kyle.”
Kyle saluted, "You too. Get better soon Liam." He smiled before walking out the room, leaving them be.

Kasey sighed and stuck the paper in her pocket. “Well… Are you tired? Do you want to go back to sleep?”
"I wanna stay awake with youuuu." Liam said, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.

Kasey chuckled and nuzzled his cheek. “I know, love. But you need rest if you’re tired. You just went through a lot. I’m surprised you haven’t just passed out already.”
"You said that before and then I did pass out," Liam replied, "You're gonna jinx me again."

Kasey chuckled softly. “Well, this time you need it. So sleep if you need to sleep, love. I’ll sleep here beside you.”
"You better," Liam mumbled, closing his eyes, "You're not leaving my side ever again."

“What if I need to go to the bathroom? Are you going to follow me in?” Kasey teased with a smile.
Liam rolled his eyes and shook his head, “That’s not what I meant.”

Kasey smiled and kissed his cheek. “I know, love. I’m joking.”
"Good. I wouldn't invade your privacy like that… I mean, if you wanted me to shower with you it might be a different story…"

Kasey blushed, burying her face in his shoulder. “Maybe someday… For now, I could barely even look at you shirtless without getting flustered. You know that,” she mumbled.
Liam chuckled, kissing her head, "I know sunshine, and I'm willing to wait as long as you need until you're comfortable for that."

“But I bet you look good shirtless…” Kasey muttered under her breath, the words muffled by Liam’s shirt.
Liam heard, just, but he did and he smirked, "What was that baby? I couldn't quite hear you."

Kasey huffed and buried her face further in his shoulder. She mumbled her response, repeating herself but barely audible.
Liam chuckled, pressing a kiss to her head, "The more you do that, the less I can hear you."

Kasey huffed and tire her face away to glare at him with bright red cheeks. “You know what I said. Why do I have to repeat it?”
"Because it's for my own amusement." Liam replied, smirking and sending her a wink.

Kasey crinkled her nose and stuck her tongue out childishly. “You’re mean, Liam…”
Liam chuckled, “I know, no need to tell me twice.”

Kasey let out a slow sigh and looked up at the ceiling. “I said ‘I bet you look good shirtless’…” she murmured quietly.
"Trust me, I do," Liam replied, kissing her cheek with a laugh, "if you wanna see just ask, or take my shirt off, whatever works."
