Bizarre Island RP.

"It seems we're somewhere in the Caribbean, judging by the heat, humidity, and wildlife." Dis says to Arie. "But it could very well be somewhere totally different, like the Galapagos."

(Nightfall is almost here.)

When Charlotte turned around to look at the woman, she caught sight of a boy. He looked scared, freaked out like he didn’t know what to do, or where he was. Just like herself and Fawn.
“I’ll be right back,” she muttered to her group, walking up to the boy slowly and tapping him on the shoulder.
“Hello, there. Are you okay? You look panicked.”

"Very panicked!" He replied quickly, and she noticed cat ears twitching on his head.

"Dis."

Sami had no idea where she was, she decided to explore. There were servants, the hotel and everything. She just couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. She hadn't seen another person yet, so when she heard voices through the trees from the path she was on, she perked up and tried to catch up to them on her crutches. 'Maybe they know what the hell is going on here.' She thought.

Charlotte looked amazed at the cat ears that seemed to twitch on the boy’s head. She reached out in wonder and poked one softly, a large smile blooming on her lips.
“Whoa, you have cat ears!” She exclaimed in amazement. “That’s so cool!” When the boy looked at her in panic, she cleared her throat.
“I apologize,” she said, her cheeks a little pink due her outburst. “I just got a little excited.” She pulled Grim out of her head and held him close. “It’s okay, I’m panicked, too. I really don’t know how I got here, or why I’m here. Just a while ago, this invisible thing just ran into me! Talk about freaky,” Charlotte shuddered, noticing how the boy winced slightly. “I’m sorry, I talk a lot when I get nervous. And scared. But follow me, I’ll introduce you to the people I met. I’m sure you’ll feel better once you get to know them.”

(This I my last post for today. I think. You guys can have Charlotte speak if you want, but long as you’ve got her personality correct!)

As Samiel continued to rush forward, the people that she heard speaking came into view. She didn't prefer to call attention to herself, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
"Hey! Guys!" She waved, forcing her to stop. She quickly began crunching forward again. At least she managed to get their attention.

Carro walks back to the group with her, taking a step back as he notes how many people there are. Looking towards Charlotte, he steps slightly behind her, fiddling with one of his ears.

-Fawn snaps out of her daze and realizes that everyone was introducing them self- "Ah, oh, sorry, I was distracted. I'm Fawn and this is my dog, Rain."

Charlotte smiled softly at the shy boy behind her before looking at her group.
“Hey, guys, meet…” she trailed off, looking at the boy expectantly.
“Carro…” the boy mumbled in reply.
“This is Carro!” Charlotte grinned. “Carro, that’s Fawn and her dog, Rain. This is Dis. Oh, and this little one here is Grim.” She looked apologetically at the new face. “I’m sorry, I didn’t catch your name.”
“Hey! Guys!” Before the new girl could introduce herself, they heard a new voice. It was a girl, waving her hand around to catch their attention.
‘Wow,’ Charlotte thought. ‘So many people on this island… am I the only one who finds this a little freaky?’

Grim mewled loudly, stretching in Charlotte's arms before trotting up to her shoulder and climbing onto her head. Charlotte laughed quietly. Grim sure loved sleeping on her head, that lazy cat.
"We both have cats we adore, huh?" Charlotte smiled. "I got Grim a few years back when my f-" she frowned, realizing her mind was blank. "That's strange… I don't remember… I know it was a treasured memory… How could I forget?"

Charlotte rubbed her head in confusion.
"I… This place is so weird," Charlotte couldn't remember how many times she called the place weird, but it wasn't enough. "Ever since I got here, I've been having major headaches. I've never had such intense ones in my life before. I keep hearing voices, and I even crashed into something that wasn't even visible. Whatever this place is, I don't like it."

"Getting a little dark, eh?" Dis says.

"Hey, sure, why not." Dis says. "You never know what could happen around here."

A boy with cat ears and tail Carro, if the group remembered correctly speaks up, ears and tail twitching. "Um, guys? I don't think that we are alone out here. We should probably get inside." Carro doesn't seem to realize that the setting sun is reflecting in his blue eyes, making them glow. His ears still, and swivel towards the forest and his tail poofs behind him. They can barely hear his voice when he speaks again. "We aren't alone here…" Trailing off, he stares into the forest.

He turns his gaze on her, glowing eyes wide, "We are not alone out here." Repeating the words he looks to you pleadingly. Tail poofing again, he swivels his head towards the Forest when a loud snap echoes across to them. He mewls, but looks embarrassed once he realizes it. Freezing when the growling grows loud enough for the whole group to hear. Carro is poised to run.

Charlotte narrowed her eyes but nodded in agreement.
"It's best if we do go inside," she said, flinching as the voices inside her head sounded like screams. She swore she heard Arie's voice in her head, but she shrugged it off and blamed it on the headache. "If Carro feels like something is wrong, we should listen," Grim growled loud enough for Charlotte to hear and dropped down from her head, straight into her arms. He snuggled into her chest, his warmth calming down Charlotte. Something flashed in everyone's eyes, but she paid no attention as all of them began to move inside slowly.

"No problem." Dis said, sincerely.

Something came out of the forest, nearly human height and a green and orange coloration, and looking like a disproportionate praying mantis, with a pointed beak. It sprinted at them.

Everyone froze when the… thing sprang towards them. Charlotte felt her legs freeze up, but when Grim slapped a paw against her cheek, she snapped out of it.
"Everyone, get inside!" Charlotte found herself ordering everyone, her eyes widening in fear. "Right now!"
Charlotte didn't know what happened, but she felt a burst of something that felt incredibly good. It increased when she and everyone else began to run to the building and died when they reached. Charlotte's eyes fell on the girl who had waved them over earlier and looking at her foot made her feel terrible. Charlotte didn't want the girl to feel like Charlotte was mocking her, but right now, all Charlotte wanted was for everyone to be safe. And so she did the only thing that seemed right to her; she grabbed the girl's arm, swung it over her shoulder and helped her into the building as fast as she could.
But before they could slam the doors shut, the creature pushed itself inside, looking hungrily at everyone with its bright red eyes. It lunged at everyone, but before it could get any closer, a mysterious force slammed into it, pushing it out.
