"Tried, didn't work. I didn't have much survival skills or anything anyway. I'll probably try again here though."

Paige turned the corner. "I'd invite you to my house, but it's not much of an upgrade from your situation."
Artemis nodded. She leaned in. "Maybe we could run away together. Work as a duo." She whispered.

"Sure. As long as we don't do anything too serious." Artemis said, grinning back.

Paige sat down towards the back left corner, taking out a piece of paper and a pencil. She planned on doodling if the teacher began talking about how 'bad' they were.

Vaughn slouched slightly in his seat, but was pleased when the teacher gave them the short period to work. He had no homework so far, so he dug out what looked like a player and a cassette tape. He attached earbuds to it and turned on the music, resting his head down on his arm as he listened to the music.

Paige closed her eyes, leaning back in her seat. She sighed, hoping that she could get in a little sleep during this class.

Artemis stared out the window. Puffy white clouds floated in the sky.
She scribbled down a note and passed it over to Paige. 'So who would we take with us to be a gang? Also, tear this up so the teachers don't read it.'

Paige tore up the note and put it in her pocket before writing a response. She tapped her pencil on her desk, thinking about who they should bring. 'Vaughn. Zanna and Sacia. We can add more later.' She passed the note to Artemis.
She read it and and tore it up. She glanced over at Paige and nodded her head.
