Vaughn shifted in his seat slightly as he was sitting up now, the earbuds still in. He looked down at a notepad as he sketched boredly, not sure what to do.
Artemis nodded. She tore up the paper.

Paige propped her feet up on her desk again, noticing that the teacher had started talking.

The bell finally rang, signaling that class was over. Paige had a free period next, and then lunch. She planned on staying in the cafeteria during her free time so she could get to lunch early. Paige left the class, making her way to the cafeteria while trying to look tall as always.

Vaughn left the classroom when the bell rang. He glanced up and down the halls as he walked, bag slung over his shoulder.

Paige made sure that Artemis was following her as she made her way to the cafeteria. She sat down at the back table where they had been yesterday.

Vaughn’s period was free until lunch. He wondered if anyone else would have that same class, and where they would go if they did. He walked through the halls for a minute longer before heading into the cafeteria. He glanced around until he saw Paige and Artemis. He made his way over, sliding into a seat at the table. “Free period?”

Paige nodded. "Yep. Figured I'd just hang out here and wait for lunch." Her stomach growled in response.

Vaughn gave a quick nod, fingers tapping the table. He still felt a little lightheaded, and he mentally clung to it. “That’s a good idea,” he commented.

She looked around the cafeteria. "Did anyone hear what happened to Reid and that one girl? I haven't seen them since they left earlier."

“Not sure, haven’t seen them since their little agreement,” Vaughn responded, hints of disgust trickling into his voice.

Paige leaned against the table. "I hope that girl knew what she was getting in to. What happened to her isn't my problem though, I warned her…" She spoke her thoughts out loud.

“I suppose so,” Vaughn said, running his fingers through his hair, feeling the texture of the shorter half. “They should be doing better to enforce people like him to not being doing things like that.”
