"Oh, lord.", Lavender muttered. "Asura, get your boyfriend under control, Maudie's waiting."

(sorry, me and eevee were busy also we know each other irl)
"He's not my boyfriend," he sighed, shaking his head. "Anyway, let's go."

(No problemo)

Lavender shot him one last skeptical look before sighing and returning to Maudie.

"God." Ro sighed. "Can the hand kill him?"

"No, the hand is definitely not allowed to kill him," Asura snapped, clenching his fists. He then turned to Maudie. "We're ready."

Why does Asura care about him so much?, Lavender wondered, eyeing the god. Maudie winked, spreading her arms. “Your first trial will be…”

Suddenly, Asura's world went dark. Moments later, he regained his senses, and found himself trapped behind some sort of magic barrier. Lavender was on the other side.
"Lavender, help Asura escape. However, you will not be able to hear him. You have one hour, good luck." With that, Maudie was gone.

(Ooh, I like it!)

Immediately, Lavender reaches a hand forward to prod the barrier. Solid. She circled it, and suddenly, a grin formed in her face. Can you here me?

Asura smirked. I certainly can, he thought toward her. He reached forward and ran his hands along the magic barrier, searching for a weak spot. And I've seen this before. There's a weak spot on each side. If we time it just right, we can break it just by… the rest of his thoughts trailed off, and he could feel the connection between their minds weakening.

Lavender strained her mind, strengthening the connection as much as possible. Can you hear me?

He heard static noise, and a few words in between. Lavender? he thought. Suddenly, the connection snapped. Asura heard Maudie giggle.

Lavender clenched her fists. “Maudie?”, she yelled. “The rules were no actual talking!” She spun around.

She laughed. "Well, I changed them. Let's see if you can figure it out from there," she said, smiling at Lavender.

Lavender clenched her teeth, turning back to Asura. Then, she had an idea. Picking up a scrap piece of paper and a pencil on her pocket, she wrote: Do I need to hit both weaknesses at the same time?.

Maudie let out a huff of frustration and disappeared again. Asura shook his head at Lavender, mouthing "no" to her. His hand passed over the bottom corner of the barrier, where he finally fount the weak point of the barrier, he looked up at her and pointed up to the top right corner, where the other weak point probably was.

Lavender nodded, standing on top-toes to reach the spot he’d pointed to. Do I press on it?, she wrote.

He nodded, but he wasn't sure how to communicate to her how to find the weak spot. It was supposed to bend slightly with pressure. He ran a hand through his hair.

Lavender felt around for a second or two, until she felt something weaken underneath her fingers. She grinned. Got it., she wrote.

He nodded, then backed up, looking directly at her. He moved to the center, and kicked the middle of the barrier with as much force as he could, trying to demonstrate what they were supposed to do to the weak point.

Lavender nodded, clambering up onto the table. On three., she wrote, holding up three fingers and preparing herself.

He nodded, moving back to the weak point and taking a deep breath, waiting.

Three. Lavender dropped a finger. Two. She bent her legs, preparing to jump. One. Lavender leapt forward with all the force she could muster, bringing both legs down on the weak spot, hard.

"Uncle, what the hell?" Ro sighed

Asura did the same, and the barrier shattered into shards of glass that sliced open his skin like it was paper.

Lavender crashed to the ground, immediately running over to Asura, who was covered in cuts and small wounds.

(Hi sorry I've been off, I've been hanging with out with my family who came to visit.)
Mozos heard a shattering in the other room, which had him concerned especially since he had heard a drunken rambling before, and rushed to it. When he arrived he saw Asura covered in cuts."What happened to you?"
