He took a deep breath, lifting himself off of the ground. There was a cut on his arm that was bleeding profusely. "The barrier turned into glass. That was horrible of you, Maudie," Asura growled, clamping a hand down on the bleeding wound on his arm.

Lavender gritted her teeth. “Heal him.”, she ordered the ghost.

Maudie glared at Lavender, crossing her arms. "No," she said. Asura gritted his teeth.
"It's okay, I can handle it," he said, ripping off a strip of cloth from the bottom of his shirt and wrapping it around the cut.

“Maudie!” The ghost appeared, shaking her head with a grin and disappearing again. Lavender swore. “Are you sure you’re okay?”

He nodded. His skin was slowly starting to lose its color, but he healed very fast, so it would only be a matter of minutes before the wound closed itself. He just had to make sure he didn't lose too much blood until then.

(help idk how to insert Matthias again sorry. i did earlier, like yesterday, but it deleted itself. sorry)

(well, they're in the same place. Maybe Matthias heard the glass breaking and comes over to see what's going on?)

Lavender took out a clean washcloth, dabbing at his wounds.

He winced a bit, not looking at Lavender. He could feel the blood soaking through the cloth. "Sorry," he mumbled.

Matthias woke from his daze at the sound of glass shattering. Wanting to see what was going on, he tried to push his way out and through the door, but ended up ripping it off its hinges on accident. " Oops. Fix that later," he muttered before turning and running down the hallway towards the sound and… screaming? He tried running faster, but tripped and barely managed to stop his fall. He made his way into a… room with barriers? What is this place? Or am I that drunk still??

“Not your fault.”, she said firmly. She patted him on the back. “You sure you okay for challenge two?”

"IS THAT BLOOD WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED WHEN I WAS OUT?!" Matthias freaked out and tried to make his way over the broken glass without trying to cause more bloodshed.

"Yeah, I am," he assured her. Asura could feel the wound beginning to heal. He could also hear Matthias drunkenly screeching, and sighed in annoyance. "Everything's fine. I just got a small cut, go back to your room."

"NO NO NO WHY IS THERE BLOOD ASURA–" Matthias paused at seeing the full scene. "Asura what happened? Are you okay?" Matt dug around in his pockets, "Need some liquor? If not to numb the pain then the clean yourself?"

"Why the hell do you have liquor?" Asura snapped, removing the cloth to find that the wound was nearly completely healed.

"What kind o' question is that?" Matthias asked, kneeling next to him. "I always carry it with me."

"You need to stop doing that, it's going to kill you," he said, straightening his back.

Lavender stepped back, letting the ‘Not boyfriends’ sort it out.

"Ha. I wish" Matt said with a deadpan expression and lifted the flask to his lips and drank a light sip before putting it back in his pocket. "Need help up or ya got it?"

"Got it," he said, pushing himself upward. His golden aura flickered a bit as he strained to pull himself up. Asura leaned against the wall when he finally stood.

Suddenly, Maudie flickered to life behind them. “Cut the lovey-dovey stuff, you have another challenge to complete.” She glared at them. “Your next challenge is…” twelve bottles of beer appeared in front of them. “Each if you drinks four, then answers two riddles. Amuse me enough, and you win the challenge.”

"Fine then. Um but Miss Ghosty?? I'm a little tipsy, I know that, but what type of liquor is it?? Better be the good stuff" Matthias sauntered his way over to the bottles and began to down them with no sign of stopping. He tripped over his own feet after the third one and drank the fourth while lying sprawled out on the ground. A loud belch came from him. "Nevermind. Thanks Miss Ghosty. That settled it."

"Matthias!" Asura yelled. "You're not even supposed to be in this, oh my god." He reluctantly made his way over to the beers, picking one up. He turned to Lavender. "Do you drink?"
