The water splashed into the canoe as they made a sharp turn. They were winning, but the Apollo and Hermes cabin were gaining on them.
"C'MON ARES! YOU CAN DO THIS!" Alex yelled from across the water while she clapped the hands
“Well this is certainly exciting.” Elizabeth smirked.
"Yeah, i think that this is the most invested in something competitive i've been for a while" Alex grinned

(that's cool) Alex watched the Hephaestus cabins canoe gain on the Ares cabins canoe, she heard the shouts coming from the lake and chuckled to herself
“If Ares loses, do you think there would be another food fight?” Elizabeth asked Alex.
Alex turned and grinned at Elizabeth. "I certainly hope so"
“Well I hope not, they’re messy.” Elizabeth said.
"Come on! We need to speed up!" Ryker yelled over the rushing water. Hephaestus were passing them, and they were only a few metres away from the end. The Hephaestus cabin passed them and sped up, crossing the line with the help of a motor.
