“Hephaestus is very eager today…” Elizabeth noted.

"Yeah they are. I'm a bit surprised" Alex stated as she heard the Ares canoe shout. "what is your favourite animal Elizabeth?"
Elizabeth stared at the race intensely.
"A motor?! That's gotta be cheating!" Ryker shouts as Hephaestus crosses the finish line.
"Unfair!" his half-sister shouted.
Alex snorted at the yells from the Ares cabin,clashing with the cheers from the Hephaestus cabin. "this will be interesting" she said to herself
“What the commotion about over there?” Elizabeth asked as she noticed that the children of Ares and Hephaestus were yelling at each other.
"Ares cabin thinks Hephaestus cabin cheated by using a motor, Hephaestus cabin disagrees" Alex explained
“Oh. How do you know? Is my hearing that bad? I thought my hearing was excellent.”
"It's not cheating, it's inventing!" a Hephaestus camper yells.
"Excuse me? It is cheating! It's a canoe race, not a motor boat race!" Ryker's half-sister shouts.
"At least we're actually smart." the other Hephaestus camper retaliates.
"At least we're not cheats!" Ryker replies.
"we should probably try to break it up" Alex said but she made no move to get up. she was enjoying the conflict, then she thought to herself that that was a really messed up thing to enjoy. Alex got up and headed over to the two cabins bickering
(Aren’t they in the middle of the lake? Or did they finish?)

Elizabeth followed Alex.
Alex walked down to the edge of the water where the two cabins were arguing. they were about ten words away from throwing punches. "SHUT IT!" Alex yelled once she got in between the two cabins
“Way to go Alex the Peacemaker.” Elizabeth muttered quietly but loud enough for Alex to hear.
"Do you really want to get into trouble over a stupid canoe contest? i don't think so. there are other things to get into trouble for" Alex said once the arguing died down a bit. "what was there something wrong Elizabeth?" she asked in a lower voice
“They seem to care a lot for it, telling someone that their thought is wrong, can provoke them and worsen up everything. You could have at least coated it in honey…” Elizabeth whispered.
"eh" Alex voiced."i'm not really the kinda person to sugarcoat something. they can fight if they want. I was just trying to be hlepful"
“I guess you do have a point.” Elizabeth sighed.
(So when is the prophecy thingy going to happen?)
(soon hopefully. should the Orical come to the docks or should we go to it?) Alex shrugged
(Either is fine.)
“I mean, at least they’re arguing quietly now.”
"That's fine as long as they listened a bit i'll be fine" Alex said(I think the Orical should come down to the docks. do you want to write that part or do you want me to ?)

(Just wondering but are you guys okay with your characters like… dying or getting lost or losing their minds? Just wondering because the prophecy has that… I can change it if you're not though =P)
