Elizabeth stayed silent.

She giggled. "Thanks Elizabeth." She smiled. She nodded at Ryker. "Wake me up when you get tired and we'll switch."

"Smart move," Ryker chuckled.

"I'll be fine for a little longer," he said to Phoebe.

Phoebe leaned her head against the window. She sighed softly and closed her eyes.

Elizabeth started playing with the rings on her hand. Spinning them around on her finger. (.. I have no idea what that movement is called. ._.)

Ryker kept his eyes on the road. A while passed by before his eyes started feeling heavy. He could see the border in front of them, so he shook Phoebe awake. "Hey, Casanova, the border's up ahead,"

She raised her head and blinked. She nodded and yawned. "You look tired, we should switch out." She said as she stretched.

"Yeah, just wait until the traffic's slowed down, then we can switch. You need to convince them to let us past anyway." Ryker said, yawning.

“I’m a GPS when the stars are out.” Elizabeth said, randomly. Wow, smooth Elizabeth. Smoooooth.

"Its not going to be hard. And if they give us trouble I'll just call my dad."

Kaden raised an eyebrow at her. "What?"

“Who’s your dad?”

"That'll come in handy, I guess." Ryker said to Elizabeth. He gave a sideways glance at Phoebe. "Your dad seems pretty important,"

Phoebe looked back. "A very powerful businessman. He has a lot of contacts, including the ones that get rid of people permantly."

“Wow.” Elizabeth said.

She shrugged.

"That's kinda cool," Ryker said. "At least he can get us out of trouble,"

"Hey, do we have any chocolate?" Teri asked.

“Yeah, here.” Elizabeth said, tossing Teri a packet of chocolate.

She nodded. "Yeah, I guess."

"Thanks, chocolate has low levels of magnesium, and also, I need some sugar."

"You don't seem too thrilled about your dad." Ryker said. The traffic was starting to slow down.

She shrugged again. "Let's just say he's not as good as a father as he is a businessman."

“Oh.” Elizabeth frowned. That’s sad.

He took one of his hands off the wheel and placed it on hers. The traffic had completely stopped. "Are you okay to switch over?" he asked.
