Joanna reached the spot and ducked into an alcove, catching her breath steadily.

Sam stopped in the middle of the clearing, doubling over for a moment to returning his breathing to normal. Once done he motioned for Joanna to come out.

Joanna stepped out of the alcove, looking ready and strong. "We made it," she noted, looking around.

Sam nodded, "Yeah we did. Now, onto your powers. You have to look inside yourself and feel it. It's like a flame inside a well, the well represents how deep your power will go and the flame is the power itself."
