asra had gone up to the other and crouched. " theres a key in my back pocket if you wouldn't mind taking these damn chains off" he mumbled and kept his eyes on the ground
Alex jumps again, exclaiming again. "くそ！"
He shakes his head and sighs. "You are the only person that has snuck up on me twice."
He leans back and reaches into the pocket absently, finding the key and unlucking the manacles. "There you go."
He realises he doesn't actually know the omega's name. "What's your name?"
"asra.. asra snow. you?"
"Alex Mayle, head of the downtown Tokyo clan. Kuranparagon." Alex replies.
"Now your clan." he adds.
" first omega of the oucha clan. an just so you know, your foods done." he said, his grey eyes watching the other almost curiously
Alex nods. "Oucha shizoku."
He smirks. "I know it's done."
He gets up fluidly, examining Asra just as intently as he was examining him.
asra stumbled back a bit, quickly standing and walking to stand by his new alpha
Alex nods. Nice enough, I suppose. Needs a bit of work.
He enters the kitchen, setting the table for them both. "Let's eat. Busy day tomorrow."
" what do you have planned?" he asked and ate small bites.
Alex shrugs. "Negotiations between my clan and Kuran wa batō shimashita. As you are one of the only ones in my clan, you are effectively second-in-command, even while being an omega."
He devours the meal quickly, then gets up. "I need to sleep. I'll see you tomorrow. Wear sun blocking clothes."
"a..am i not sleeping with you?" he stood up " i am your omega.."
Alex looks startled. "Uh-"
He chuckles. "Sure, you can sleep with me. But expect me up as soon as the sun rises."
asra smiled and gave a soft laugh of triumph " yes!" he said and tagged behind alex
As soon as Alex climbs into bed, he's out. Over the next few days, he smooths things over with the other clans, reaching compromises that leave everyone annoyed. *It's like I can't win…"
Through it all, Asra stayed by his side. More than anything, he appreciated that. Most would have left by now. Nearly a year later, he realized that he enjoyed Asra's company.
asra was sleeping on the couch while sitting up. hed stayed up all night trying to help with the plans to make the clans happy
Alex was sitting at the table, nursing his coffee. The day was bright and warm, the sort of day that the vampires like Asra couldn't enjoy. He sighs.
"Hey, Asra!" he calls.
asra was stil sleeping, swaying softly
Alex gets up, then sees Asra asleep. He grins, letting him sleep. He steps out of the house, lighting a cigarette. He'd only recently gotten into the habit. He drew in deeply, then exhaled. He's been working too hard. He needs a few days off. Hell, so do I.
asra had heard the door open and shut, opening his eye he got up and put the others hoodie on and put the hood up before opening the door "sorry.." he said softly
Alex jumps slightly, still not used to someone being able to sneak up on him. "It's okay. You need the rest. Even with a year of staying up during the day, that can't change the instinct to sleep during the day. I only do it because I'm different."
He turns to Asra, holding his gaze for a long while, staying silent.
" can you at least come cuddle then?" he asked. his voice had a soft whine to it. hed always gotten clingy and a bit whiny when he was tired.
Alex laughs. "Yeah, give me a moment."
He finishes the cigarrete, then walks inside.
asra went ahea and laid down, pulling the blankets up and waiting patiently for alex
Alex laughs slightly, climbing into the bed and wrapping his arms around Asra.
"Sleep well." he murmurs.
asra nuzzled into his chest, though something had crossed his mind " what do we do next.. in like planning for life or something.." he asked softly
Alex shrugs. "I'm not sure… if we go any further, you'd need to be alpha alongside me. And I don't know if that's possible."
He sighs. "I wouldn't worry too much, though. Even if we have to keep it a secret, it'll be worth it."
asra smiled, leaning up and giving alex a soft kiss " maybe so, but we'd need to be careful.."
Alex grins. "Haven't we been anyways?"
He leans into the kiss, then pulls away, searching Asra's face. "What brought this line of thought into your head?"
" i was just thinking about stopping the represents.. " he said and looked away
Alex sighs. "Honey, you know I can't stop those. The clans would be very, very pissed, and we don't need that."
He tilts Asra's face back to his. "Anyways, enough about that."
