She smiles, “Buba is my best friend! But I do have another friend. But they stay in my room.” She gasps, “Oh! Have you met our puppy and kitty?”
Kathy chuckles, “I think snows sleeping in my room right now, kiddo…”

"'Puppy?' 'Kitty?'" Amelia repeats, confused. She had no clue what was meant by these words.

Kathy chuckles, “We have a service dog and a cat. The cats deaf though, so she just chills in my room most of the time.” He hums, whistling. Just then a dog walks in, a mix of golden retriever, and German Shepard.
Buba smiles, “Teddy!” He giggles.
The dog walks over to Kathy, laying down at his feet. Kathy smiles. “Good boy.”

Amelia looks with apprehension at the creatue that walked into the room - she'd never seen anything like it before.
"That's massive-" she says bluntly. "-and it honestly scares me."

Kathy chuckles, “He’s a really good dog though. And he’s fully trained. He helps basically anyone here. But we don’t usually let him around any outsiders. But you seem like a good person, so I’m sure you can meet him.” He looks at the dog, petting him. “Good boy. Go say hi.”
Just as Kathy said that, the dog perks up and walks towards Amelia, sitting down in front of her.

Amelia jumps when the dog moves towards her. She looks at it nervously.
"Hi?" she says softly.

The gods tail wags quickly, and he lays down by her feet, rolling onto his back.
Kathy laughs, “He wants you to pet him.”

"Um- how do I- uh-" Amelia looks nervous and confused. She clears her throat. "How exactly am I supposed to go about doing that?"

Kathy laughs softly, getting up and walking over to her. He gently pets Teddy, “Like this…” he gently takes her hand, guiding it to Teddy’s stomach.
(And he doesn’t designate!)

Amelia jumps slightly at the contact, and lets Kathy guide her hand, hoping the dog wouldn't disappear. It didn't. She gasps softly.
"Oh my god he's so soft and warm!" she squeals, looking over at Kathy.

He laughs, “Mhm…he’s very sweet.”
Teddy’s tail wags, and he looked happy to be receiving all this attention.
Bubba and Kiki both giggle.

Amelia rubs Teddy's belly vigorously, enjoying the sensation of his fur sliding between her fingers.
"And you have a 'cat?' Is the cat as warm and fluffy as Teddy?" she asks.

Kathy chuckles, “Uh huh…I can go get her if you want. She’s just as sweet as teddy.”

Amelia pauses for a moment then nods vigorously.
"Yes please!"

He chuckles, nodding for her to follow. He walks into his room, opening the door and leaving it open. He then walks over to a cat tower where a small, Snow White cat lay. He smiles and gently blows on her fur, waking her up. He gently pets her. “This is snow. She’s our deaf cat. She’s like- a emotional support animal.” He picks the cat up and holds her over to Amilea.

Amelia gently takes the cat. It doesn't disappear either. She smiles.
"God, she's even softer than the dog." she breathes. "Wait- why is it vibrating?"

Kathy laughs softly. “She’s purring. Thats what cats do when they’re happy.” He smiles. “She seems to really like you.”
The cat purrs even louder, snuggling into Amelia’s arms.

Amelia looks down and smiles, unconsciously imitating the noise the cat was making.
"I like her too, with her adorable little nose and fuzzy little ears. . ." she says, her voice going slightly higher pitched as she slips into baby talk.

Kathy chuckles, watching the adorable interaction. “Hm, if you want, she can come into your room and cuddle with you. She has to be in someones room by 12. So…” he shrugs.

Amelia looks up and smiles brightly.
"Really? She can?" she asks, ecstatic at the thought.

Kathy nods, smiling brightly. “Of course. Maybe she can keep you company.”

Amelia laughs delightedly and beams at Kathy.
"I'd give you a hug, but I'm holding Snow, so-" she walks forward and rests her head on Kathy's shoulder. "-thank you."

He smiles warmly, wrapping an arm around her. “Of course.” He pets snow, “Good girl…”

Amelia pulls away after a monet and sits down on the floor, transerring the cat in her arms to her lap and starting to scratch behind her ears. She was completely oblivious to everything outside the fuzzy little creature and its purring now.

Kathy smiles warmly, sitting down with her. He couldn’t help but just sit back and watch this cute interaction. Sure, the cat was basically his, but yet again, he wanted everyone else to have a chance with the therapy cat. Thats what he called her anyway. Mainly a joke, but she was supposed to be for therapeutic reasons.

After a bit she comes back to reality and looks over at Kathy.
"Please tell me you haven't been sitting there this entire time." she groans.

He laughs, shrugging. “I wanted to see her effect on you. Turns out I was right-“

Amelia groans dramatically and hides har face behind a bunch of bars of glitches, just to hide her blush.
"You saw me kiss her forehead? And heard me talking to her like a baby? And everything else?" she asks, mortified.

Kathy laughs, “Everyone who’s seen her has done that- thats just her effect of people. Don’t worry about it. I was just curious.”
