(k idk what the last response was but I'm too lazy to look so here we go)
Asura looked down at the card that was still in his hand. He glanced over at Matt, then at the card, and sighed. "Maybe it wouldn't be too bad of an idea to give her a call."
"Wha..? Yer really considerin' givin' that drug-dealin' secret spyh agent a call?" Matt asked earnestly before thinking about it thoroughly. "Eh… mahybe ya should." Matt nodded, the idea making more sense the more he thought about it.
"Well, what other options do we have? Nobody knows what's going on, and we don't really know where else to start." He pulled out his phone and started punching in the number. "It's worth a shot, anyway." The phone started to ring, and he waited, impatiently drumming his fingers on the table.
Matt nodded in agreement before unscrewing the cap to one of his flasks and began to play with it while he waited with Asura for the girl to answer. He quickly grew impatient and began to drink heavily, draining the flask of its alcoholic contents. He put the empty flask on the table and wiped away a bit of liquid with the back of his hand, letting out a rather loud, happy sigh as he smirked at Asura.
Asura tensed up, a little bit startled. He didn't know why, but he expected the girl not to answer. He cleared his throat and spoke a bit quieter than usual. "Hi, this is Asura. Are you the girl from the cafe?"
"I wanted to know how exactly you could help us," he said, shrugging. "People are going missing. I wasn't going to wait any longer."
Asura paused, thinking for a moment. "How many… shit, I don't know, I didn't count." He huffed, trying to remember who exactly was all a part of this. He hadn't seen that one straight chick since last night, and she seemed hesitant, so he wouldn't count her. That left him, Matt, Rain, Yesim, and the one girl that he hadn't really talked to, so… "Five?"
Asura groaned in frustration. "Midnight? Seriously? I'm going to have to lose another night of sleep for this?"
Matt raised his eyebrows at Asura when he heard something about staying up until midnight again. "Heh, aye can keep ya entertain'd 'till then if ya wanna," Matt chuckled lowly to Asura, finally putting the cap back on the empty flask.
(AAAAHHHHHH WHY DO I LOVE THIS)
group
(i legit almost spit out my water when reading this from laughing)
(ah. this is why I love using matt lmao)
(we all love matt tho)
Asura tried to ignore what Matt said, focusing his attention on the phone call. "He's not my boyfriend. I'll try to keep him under control, though." He said. "See you at midnight." With that, he hung up, and turned his attention back to his not-boyfriend. "If you want to come with everyone, you're going to have to be good. That might mean ditching alcohol again."
(lmao "not-boyfriend" takes me back to the "really good friends" incident omg)
"Wh'ell then if aye can't hav' mah liquor then aye need a guud substitute ya can provide… mah 'nawt-boifriend'…" Matt trailed off into a smirk and he leaned forward, making his face get closer to Asura's, even though he's short af.
(omg that was fucking great)
Asura could feel himself blushing. He looked away and stepped back, resisting the urge to fan himself because damn how did the room get that warm that fast? Or was that just him? "I'll text the others, then we can wait in my dorm or something until we have to leave. My roommate left for vacation in Italy this morning, so there's no one else there…"
Rain started walking backwards as she got more bored of THE walking.
She felt her phone buzz. She stopped and gave Yesim a quick look, meaning, “wait for mee…”
Rain opened her phone and saw a message.
