They walked in silence until they came across a corridor with an open door. Leo peeked inside.

Jace moved towards the door, looking inside. "What kind of room is this?"
Leo squinted at the darkness. "Looks like a bedroom."

"Huh. I've never seen this place before." Ana stated, looking around.
"Me neither." He walked in. "The bed isn't dusty. Why isn't the bed dusty?"

"Maybe someone was here. That, or this place is just taken care of well." Ana responded after reading his lips.
"Probably Alice just passed through here." He noticed the other door and nodded to it.

She nodded back, carefully heading towards the door.
"What is it?" he asked, coming up behind her.

Ana looked around at the room in front of her. "I think it's a lab." It took her a while to respond, not realizing that Leo had talked to her.
Leo grimaced. "Should we go in?" He went in.

"I guess we should…" Ana mumbled, walking inside the slightly musty room.
Leo walked over to the shelves. "Oh god. They're labeled dancing or trapeze…"

Ana shivered as she looked around. She walked up to one of the cages and touched the cold metal. "This is creepy."

"Remember what Haile said about experimenting?"

"….Yeah…." Ana responded quietly, walking up to where Leo was. She began investigating the vials.

"You don't think… You don't think these were ever used on us? And we just don't remember it?" Jace asked.

Jace walked over to the shelves and took a vial off that said "strength."
"How do you inject strength into someone?"
"They must mess with genes."

Leo sighed. "For the Circus. To have better acts."
