He shook his head, sighing but still not turning visible. "I don't like it." Eli didn't answer her question.
Alice snorted. "No on3 ever really did."

"I can see why." Eli went up and touched the cage, the cold metal making him shiver once more.
"Those cages are impenetrable. I know, believe me."

"Not for me." Eli slid his hand easily through a bar on the cage.
"From experience, I'll tell you, you don't want to go into those willingly."

"I wouldn't consider it." Elliot backed away from the cage and instead went back to looking at the vials.
Alice yawned and inspected her nails. While Eli and Ella inspected the shelves, she started stepping backwards and out of the room.

"I'd usually take that as a complement, but I'm not sure it's a good thing if a murderer thinks you're alright."
"I am most definitely not a murderer. Murderer is too plain a word," she corrected.

"Now that is plain offensive."

Eli raised his eyebrows before realizing that he was still invisible. "It's true and you know it."

Eli smirked, leaning against the wall and watching to see what Alice would do next.
She kept walking. "I wasn't a 'psycopath'," she said with air-brackets.

He still ignored her, but he did stand up and follow her.
Haile dropped his head to his chest. "So I guess we're at an impasse."

"Well, not really. We have a gun and plenty people who are willing to shoot you." Ana responded, crossing her arms.
